Awesome view from the deck. good location. rustic. Hot tub was in a great location but just did not get warm enough. loft was great for the kids. renal office staff was very nice.

We really enjoyed this property and the view from the balcony was absolutely incredible. The loft is very large, has three queen beds, and accomodated us nicely, however, it did get a little hot if the fire was burning. The downstairs was also very nice and had a comfortable living area, flat screen TV, two bedrooms, bath, and a washer and dryer. The location is fantastic and is walking distance to the Upper Flume trail and the Soaring Eagle Lift. The shuttle service was very helpful and arrived quickly once we called the shuttle dispatch (you have to call the shuttle dispatch on S. West Ridge Rd). The ride to The Village was less than 3 minutes so you are incredibly close to everything.
The only suggestions I would make would be to add wireless Internet and fix the hot tub. In regards to the wireless Iternet, cell phone service in the house is very poor and having wireless Internet would have enabled us to use our computers and smart phones. It was difficult for us not to be able to check emails, search online for various things, and stay in contact with family. In regards to the hot tub, it only worked for an hour the first day, and thereafter would not get hot enough to enjoy (stayed at 85 degrees for the rest of the stay).
All in all, this is a great property in a great location and is very well maintained. We are conidering booking this property for our annual Super Bowl weekend trip. And Mountain Valley Properties is fantastic to work with!! -

Honestly, the entire experience was wonderful. great spot for a weekend ski getaway. spacious enought to fit 12 comfortably. Only downsides were that the loft area gets a bit warmer than the rest of the house and has no sound isolation for people trying to sleep while others are socializing. It was a bit hard to find the place, but that had more to do with the strange thick fog on friday night when we arrived than anything else.
