Solanas is located approximately 35 km from Elmas airport in Cagliari. Solanas offers all main services, including supermarket, newsstand, pharmacy, park, pizzerias and the famous Da Barbara restaurant. The beach of Solanas also offers a modern beach lounge, as well as a snack bar (in season). There's also an abundance of trails and picnic spots to explore.
Solanas is only a 15 min drive from the town of Villasimius - known for its unique shops, cafes, restaurants and nightlife. An evening stroll is a must! It's a lovely scenic drive along coastal roads, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Sardinia. Also only a short distance away is the town of Costa Rei, which also features cove beaches and restaurants. With so much to choose from, Solanas is your perfect holiday getaway.

Great location close to beautiful sandy beach with lovely clear sea (a bit windy at times, but that does blow any insests away)The house is good, but decor a bit faded. Best things: 1. bedrooms in basement so are cooler than might be expected. 2. lovely terrace and planting in the garden. 3. location is exceptional. Our youngest child is 20 months and had to be watched because of all the steps - maybe a couple of stair gates would help?
We never found a cash point in solanas so make sure you take enough cash if you dont have a car with you.
We had a wonderful holiday - the children loved it and my husband and I actually relaxed, quite an achievement on holiday with 3 small children!

We had a fantastic and very relaxing holiday in this charming beach side villa. Having arrived in late evening, we were gently directed to the villa by the property manager and welcoming kingly by him. The property was spotlessly clean and well equiped, a nice garden and very near the sea (walking 2 minutes). Francesco (property manager) was most helpful in answering our queries and advising on the local area. Beautifiul beaches within easy driving distance and Villasimius is nearby for supermarkets, shopping, restaurants, etc. Sardinia is a beautiful island to visit with very nice beaches.

Since my arrival I was amazed by the beauty of the area,the beach and the color of the sea.The house was comfortable, clean and well mantained.The property manager was very helpfull. It was so nice to take our mornig coffee on the beach looking out at the sea ,the beach restaurant serves meals and liesurely afternoon drinks.I was very happy for my vacation and I surely return.
