Our third recent trip to Casa Buena Suerte was (something none of us thought possible) our best yet. The gardens have become so lush there are even more intimate nooks to escape to with a good book. The natural beauty of Soleiman Bay coupled with the grace and lavishness of the villa make one feel like you died and went to heaven! We ate in more frequently this time, (not wanting to leave even for an evening) and were impressed with the professional Chef Jose. He made a different meal every night and each one was delicious. To gather around the beautiful stone table inside or outside in the sunken dining room under the stars and arbor, after sunset cocktails on the roof deck, made the perfect finish to each glorious day. Hugo, the manager was there for any little thing our hearts desired, filling in the blanks discreetly and kindly, Sophia served us the best breakfasts and quietly cleaned and straightened up our mess, Aurelio watered and cleaned the infinity pool, raked the beach and fluffed the cushions!! We all agreed we had never enjoyed a week more. The Thorwarth clan, who never agrees on anything, voted unanimously to book for 2012. Thank you CBS, Mary Thorwarth

      A Snorkeler’s Delight

Left on 08/11/2011 for a stay in June 2011

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Buena Suerte. The location is remarkable. The house is located on a beautiful bay where we spent many hours kayaking and snorkeling on the reef. We swam with turtles, manta rays and fish in amazing array of colors. We alternated from relaxing at the house and visiting the many close attractions. The infinity pool is a wonderful place to just chill out.
The housekeeping staff is very attentive and made us feel at home. Hugo went out of his way to accommodate all of us wishes from arranging transportation to the sites to finding a place for us to buy our own snorkel equipment. Our cook, Jose, prepared many excellent meals for both lunch and dinner such that we only went out to dinner once. The overall week was one to remember.

      Dream Vacation in Mexico

Left on 08/11/2011 for a stay in June 2011

We had the pleasure of spending a week at Casa Buena Suerte and the vacation was second to none. The house itself is spectacular with spacious rooms and private bathrooms/terraces for each individual room. With 3 kayaks and snorkeling equipment provided, we took full advantage of the beautiful beach 20 feet from the private pallapa. If the beach isn't inviting enough, you can relax and do nothing in the amazing infinity pool that makes you feel like you're at the edge of the beach. We originally had a list of restaurants in the area that we were eager to check out but Jose impressed us from the beginning and we wound up eating all but 1 dinner and 2 lunches prepared by Jose, not to mention the complimentary fresh fruit, baked goods and hot breakfast served by Sophia every morning. Hugo was the best catering to all our needs be it transportation, grocery shopping or just a basic question about the area.

The location was far enough from the crowds yet being 10 minutes from Tulum to the south, 10 minutes from Xel-Ha to the north and 45 minutes from Playa Del Carmen provided plenty of options without much traveling.

Overall a wonderful experience that we hope to make an annual event.

      Dear Friends,
If you are looking for relaxing villa on the Riveria Maya, look no more. Casa Buena Suerte may be villa but is run like a 5 star hotel. From all of the architectural highlights, to the stunning grounds, infinity pool, and the views of Soliman Bay, who could ask for more? The staff at Casa Buena Suerte is amazing. Ugo tends to all requests by guests, Jose creates fabulous meals, Sophia greets you every morning with Buenos Dias and breakfast.
It is one of the most relaxing trips I've ever been on. We hated to leaving the house to go sightseeing. Casa Buena Suerte is 20 minutes from the Mayan Ruins in Tulum and 45 minutes from Carmen Del Playa.
We vacationed with friends, but once my family saw the pictures, they are suggesting that we have a family reunion in Mexico and stay at Casa Buena Suerte. Thanks for the memories and letting us stay in your beautiful villa. Loved It!!!

      Great Getaway

Left on 07/20/2011 for a stay in July 2011

We just got home from a great getaway week at Casa Buena Suerte. My family and friends were completely overcome with joy as we
entered this fabulous property. The photos simply do not do it justice. The property is so beautiful and well maintained it takes your breath away.
We stayed in the Palapa Suite and that in itself was such a treat; each morning we awakened to the sea and the gentle waves at our feet. We had
coffee in our suite and then joined our group for breakfast. The staff is warm and curteous, the accommodations fantastic and the beach is total bliss.
We enjoyed visiting the Tulum Ruins and a sailboat ride on the Caribbean - the staff was very helpful in arranging this for us.
I would highly reccommend this villa!

Casa Buena Suerte is more than just a villa - it is a luxury vacation spot that rivals any of the great vacation destinations
in the world. My family and I experienced a private river cruise in France last year and much to my surprise, our week at
CBS was just as enjoyable. Our biggest surprise was the private chef. We enjoyed fresh caught local fish and authentic Mexican
and Mayan specialties, all presented magnificently and all delicious! The staff could not have been more delightful from the
warm welcome to the spotless upkeep of the villa and the grounds. My wife is very conscious of cleanliness and our kids are always
crawling around so we really appreciate when our environment is well kept. The overall experience was so delightful that we
have already started to talk about our next visit. Truly a World-Class experience.

      Fantastic Pool!

Left on 07/18/2011 for a stay in July 2011

As a swimmer I have to say that the pool at Casa Buena Suerte is fantastic! I swim 50 laps every morning at home and I really appreciate a big swimming pool. The pool was great for my laps in the morning and perfect for our kids in the afternoon. The surface of the pool is smooth cobalt blue tile and there's an extended shallow end so the kids can feel safe while the adults enjoy the deeper end. We enjoyed going out in the kayaks; the sea is clear and blue and we were able to tie the kayaks up to a buoy to go snorkeling. The location is awesome -we saw squid, stingrays, barracuda and sea turtles. Back on shore, we appreciated the expert staff and the obvious planning that went into the creation of the villa.

There are areas for reading, relaxing, dining & entertaining and there's plenty of space so you can have a massage in total privacy. The villa has a great spa menu and the two massage therapists that we used were wonderful. We loved it and hope to return very soon!

      A 5-star all-inclusive luxury private resort

Left on 03/02/2011 for a stay in February 2011

We stayed in this gorgeous house with our complete family of 11, 7 adults and 4 children in February. And no wonder that everyone enjoyed this get-together to the full! The house is a beautifully designed hacienda with spacious bedrooms and a large open living space, all furnished with an amazing attention to detail. There are so many different outdoor terraces that it is difficult to choose from. Lounge chairs are everywhere from the rooftop to the beach and the swimming-pool. The location is perfect directly on the bay. And then there is the real asset of the house, the staff. Housekeeper Hugo, who will go out of his way to make your stay unforgettable. Sophia who prepares your breakfast and keeps the house clean and aurelio who takes care of the outdoors. On top of that we had gourmet chef Jose preparing the most exquisite lunches and dinners.
Apart from enjoying everything at and around the house we visited the Mayan ruins of Tulum and went to XelHa and Hidden Worlds which are all close by and very worthwhile to see and enjoy. All-in-all a wonderful experience for the entire family, much better than any major resort can offer. It is easier for the parents to keep an eye on your children while they have plenty of things to enjoy: the beautiful pool, the beach, the bay, the kayaks or the hammocks. And it is so much more personal. We have seen many different parts of the world but this was certainly a dream vacation that has topped all expectations!

      Amazing vacation home!

Left on 08/13/2010 for a stay in June 2008

I traveled to Soliman Bay in June of 2008. My family and I stayed at Casa Buena Suerte for one week...and it was the most amazing week we've ever spent while on vacation! Casa Buena Suerte is an amazing home! When you first walk into the property, you are immediately taken by the amazing views, the infinity pool and the never-ending blue ocean, which seems to surround the property. The house itself is gorgeous! Vastly elegant, great rooms, comfortable beds, ultra clean rest areas, up-to-date amenities and a wonderful patio at the very top where we saw an amazing thunder storm during our stay!! Add to this the wonderful on-site staff that makes your stay exceptionally fun and carefree. The optional chef service is amazing, and the food is incredibly fresh and delicious. You are very well taken care of while staying at this property. I highly recommend staying at Casa Buena Suerte. I can't wait to go back!!!

      serene safe and peaceful

Left on 06/13/2010 for a stay in June 2010

We recently returned from our first vacation in Mexico and what a surprise to find that all the media hype about the crime in Mexico is not true. It's no different than the crime in New York, Miami or anywhere else! - It's where you go. Do you not visit your mom in Boca Raton because of crime Miami? Casa Buena Suerte is located on a magnificent secure beachfront on the Caribbean with it's own security and we felt totally safe. Having been robbed of my purse on the beach in St Tropez in 2008, I am very careful, but this beach is so private and so well attended that you never feel even the slightest hint of unsafe. Now, about the villa - it is a lovely understated and elegant house. The grounds are beautifully maintained and have several options for sunbathing, dining, relaxing on the beach - in sun or in shade; you are always able to find a spot to enjoy. We had 4 teenagers in our group and we took them to a cenote to swim in the beautiful fresh water - what a unique experience. We also went cave diving and that was fascinating, and the beach in Tulum is breathtaking. We found the service at the house to be outstanding; lovely breakfast each morning, fresh silky linens and always spotless. Sofia has a delightful energy - always singing as she does her housework and Hugo could not have taken better care of us. He arranged massages for us, a captain to take us boating and a van to take us out when we felt we might drink a bit too much to drive. He was just perfect. We had the chef cook dinner for us 3 nights and he was absolutely first rate - wonderful ceviche, salad with jicama and grapefruit, fresh caught local fish and more. We were so pleased with the level of sophistication we found here. I would highly recommend Casa Buena Suerte to anyone thinking of traveling to Mexico.

      Just Keeps Getting Better

Left on 06/10/2010 for a stay in April 2010

This is our second visit to Casa Buena Suerte and we are even more pleased than the first time. Hugo, Sophia and aurelio made us feel like we were family that they dearly missed! Our kids just love them and feel so at home, it's wonderful to watch. Beyond the great staff and warm welcome is the property that seems to just keep getting better. The landscape was so lush this year, absolutely exquisite! The new palapa bedroom is divine; my parents stayed there and loved it. My dad opened the windows at night and let the sound of the waves lull them to sleep; we actually had them switch with us one night so we could experience it too- Fantastic! Waking up to the sea at your feet makes you feel like your on a ship, totally surreal. This year we indulged ourselves by hiring the new gourmet chef - what a treat...Lobster, Thai shrimp, peanut chicken and great frozen drinks. I would highly recommend this option. We also went to the new Sahara Grill one night which is walking distance from the house, and a great addition to the area. We mostly stayed at the house; why leave? It is simply the best vacation and the best value. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

      Spectacular Time!

Left on 06/08/2010 for a stay in January 2010

My family had a spectacular time at Casa Buena Suerte. It was
everything that was promised and more.
      The house itself is designed
with such good taste; that in itself is extraordinary for a vacation
      villa. We have stayed
In other villas that were nice, but not quite as
tasteful. The grounds are beautiful with lots of lounge chairs and a
great pool, and the beach is sublime. My kids went out on the kayaks
and snorkeled every day. The staff took care of our every request and
      made us very comfortable.
We felt at home, comfortable and
secure…What more could you ask for?

We went on a vacation with 2 other families and had the time of our lives! All of us had our privacy, we stayed in the Palapa and loved it. Our 8 year old stayed with us...it was truly wonderful. We enjoyed breakfast with the group each morning. Sofia did a great job and we had the chef for lunch and dinner each day. No need to even leave, although we did go to the Tulum Beach for Happy Hour at Mezzanine - what fun! I would strongly recommend this villa!

      By Far The Best

Left on 06/04/2010 for a stay in March 2010

Each year we travel with a group of 12 adults to another vacation destination. We have been to St. Thomas, Costa Rica, Bermuda and Los Cabos. Casa Buena Suerte in Soliman Bay on the Caribbean was by far the best of all.The privacy we had at the villa was amazing; the beach was practically ours to enjoy all alone. We explored nearby Tulum and the Mayan Ruins as well as Playa Del Carmen, which was a great for shopping and a little bit of people watching, but mostly we stayed at the villa which was fabulous. The chef prepared great meals, the staff was very attentive and the yellow lab played catch on the beach. The sunset from the roof deck was beautiful and we sunbathed their during the day. We usually look for another venue but next year we will return to Buena Suerte Soliman!

A group of 12 of us went to Buena Suerte Soliman to celebrate my 35th birthday and it was my best birthday ever. What a way to celebrate! Amazing beach, amazing house and someone to serve food and drinks everyday - can't beat it. We ventured out to Tulum Beach and found La Zebra which was a great way to spend an afternoon, went swimming in a cenote and also visited the lost city of
Ek Balam which was truly spectacular. There is so much to do and see but we mostly enjoyed the pool and the beach at the villa. Hugo treated us extremely well and the house was immaculate. As a New Yorker I am somewhat jaded and this place is an a+
