Our warm, inviting, and spacious condo is located in the beautiful Powderhorn lodge, the most distinct and recognizable accommodation in the European-style Solitude Village. The village is an intimate ski-in/ski-out community where the slopes are literally steps away. Lift tickets, ski equipment rentals and repairs and ski lesson sign-ups are on the bottom floor of the building. Everything you need for the perfect stay is close at hand.
The condo sits on the more private second floor, which puts you out of sight of passing neighbors, but gives you a view of the beautiful mountain scenery. It is located close to the elevator and st...airs, making your life easier when your hands are full. It faces the inner court of the lodge, shielding you from the noise of the highway as well as that of the main pool and resort center. The lodge has its own private hot tub that is generally quieter and more peaceful than the main hot tubs. The pool is located in the main village courtyard, less than a minute’s walk. Be close to the action, but only when you want to be.
Whether you are looking for an adventurous weekend with friends and family or a secluded private getaway, this suite will fit your needs. It has underground parking so you never need to scrape snow, and bottom floor lockers for your skis. The condo’s “lock-out” design allows you to divide it into two separate units when desired. This is great when staying with friends or even when you need a break from the kids. The master bedroom has a king-size bed. The lock-out bedroom has a queen-size bed and a queen pull-out bed, a small refrigerator, toaster, and microwave. The living area also has a queen pull-out bed, giving you the ability to sleep eight, comfortably. The condo has two full bathrooms and a spacious dining and kitchen area equipped with everything you need to make your own gourmet meals.
If cooking isn’t your thing, we have you covered. Solitude is well equipped with excellent fine dining and casual restaurants, both on-mountain and off, as well as a classic mountain pub and a village store. Restaurants include American and French dining, a Pizzeria and ice cream parlor and a number of good ski-lodge restaurants. Also nearby, we recommend the local favorite Silver Fork Lodge (with free shuttle) or ski to The Yurt for a more adventurous dining experience.
The village is home to Club Solitude, an exclusive members-only (free to Powderhorn guests) area that has extra entertainment for everyone. Its pool is well-heated and includes two hot-tubs and a waterslide. Indoors, the Club boasts a pool table, foosball, a theater room, four Xbox 360s, board games, and two computers with printer and internet access. It also has men’s and women’s saunas, a fitness room, and a spectacular great room with fireplace and library.
Our condo is stocked with everything you need for the perfect stay, including (more) games for the kids and family, a book collection, wired and wireless high-speed internet, three HDTVs (one with Wi-Fi) with over 40 of the channels in HD, and two DVD players. You can watch online videos, listen to music, check the weather and more. We have also recently added Netflix so that you can sit back and relax around our stone gas fireplace while watching the movie of your choice after a long day on the slopes.
Solitude’s name is fitting. Lift lines are almost non-existent, the slopes are quiet, and the visitors are typically more reserved. It is a family-friendly resort that boasts 1200 skiable acres, 65 named runs, 3 bowls, and plenty of pristine groomers, without the busy feeling of other resorts, and all this with 500” of Utah’s famous champagne powder. It has terrain for all ski levels from beginner to expert that is easily accessible by high-speed quads, but is easily maneuverable even without a map, unlike some of the larger Park City resorts. All roads lead back home at Solitude. This year, Solitude was ranked in the Top 10 by Ski Magazine in Snow Quality, Weather, Value, Grooming, and Accessibility.
If you’re looking for variety, Brighton resort is 1.5 miles away and Snowbird, Alta, Park City, Deer Valley, and The Canyons are all within 45 minutes.

A great place to go with your family. The scenery was gorgeous. I imagine it would be even more so when it snows. If I had a chance, I would definitely go back!
