Cecilia's Adobe is an open and spacious art-filled two-bedroom, one and a half bath bungalow just steps from the historic Sonoma Plaza. Graceful, comfortable, light and bright wine country retreat are a few words to describe this well-appointed, newly furnished and remodeled home.
The master bedroom holds a queen-sized bed, and two twin-sized beds are located in the second bedroom. A 10% Transient Occupancy Tax is included in the rate. Daily maid service is not provided, but can be arranged for an additional fee. A deposit equal to one night's stay must be sent immediately to secure your booking. Deposits are refundable with 30 days notice for cancellation. Sorry, but credit cards are not accepted. Thank you!

We stayed at the cottage with my brother and wife. The kitchen was adequate, and the yard nice. Five minute walk to the square. Great place for a family or two couples.

We have stayed @ this home more than once and have loved it.The decor and artwork in the space are beautiful and yet it still maintains a homey feel. The yard, pool, and short walking distance into the heart of town make it a perfect getaway.

I stay here almost every time I go to Sonoma. Located just a block away from the historic plaza, this cottage is an ideal location! The rental is always immaculately clean and furnishings are in "like new" condition. I personally love the eclectic art. Great decorator!
The one thing I would stress when staying here - although the spaciousness makes me want to have friends over, the neighborhood is really quiet and not welcoming of late night activity. The owners Simon and Kimberly are incredibly warm and friendly but are right next door. This definitely isn't a "party" house. That said, with multiple bars and restaurants within easy walking distance, I've never found it to be hindrance to our fun!
For $450 a night for two couples this is a steal! Have you checked the rates at the local Best Western? It's amazing that this cottage isn't booked solid year round! Almost hate to write a good review and let my secret out... -

We have enjoyed two long visits during 2002 & 2005 in Cecilia`s adobe Cottage , clean comfortable and in a perfect position for a beautiful five minute walk to Sonoma Square.
Private garden and parking and helpful owners.
We would return at the drop of a hat.

We have enjoyed this cottage for a few weeks every year for the past 4 years and even had the luck to be able to stay in it for 2 months a few years ago. The location is ideal right off the square and close to the walking trail. The cottage is perfect - comfortable, clean, and cared for. The kitchen has everything you need to be able to fix your own meals and dine out on the zen like patio. Beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of drawers and closet space to put away your clothes.
Check in is a breeze and the rates are quite reasonable especially given the comfort and location of this cottage.
We will be staying here again for a few weeks in september and look forward to it all year. It is our favorite place to stay in Sonoma and truly feels like our own home when we are there. Makes your stay in the wine country absolutely perfect!
