Cupertino, CaliforniaPeaceful retreat with fantastic view!
Left on 04/22/2013 for a stay in April 2013
This was the perfect choice for a mom's weekend getaway! My longtime friend and I wanted a quiet, relaxing weekend and the Meadow House was absolutely perfect. The whole house was comfortably and beautifully furnished. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom and lots of space for privacy. The owners had provided everything we needed and we felt instantly "at home". The view is amazing! We couldn't get enough of it. And the house is located only about 10 minutes from downtown Sonoma, so it was easy to pop into town for meals, shopping, and the spa. We will definitely stay here again!

From the minute you open the door greeted by soft jazz playing in the background, walls of windows with a view beyond belief, a lovely bubbly gift chilling on the table your shoulders begin to retreat from your ears and a calmness comes over you. This is certainly the best house rental I've ever had the pleasure of using. At risk of it becoming so popular it would be more challenging to book, I can't recommend this home more highly.

Just returned home from our anniversary trip to Sonoma Cal.We traveled with one other couple also celebrating their anniversary. If you are considering a house with a view then look no further this house has it all! Exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, stocked with all amenities that you could possibly imagine & the very best view in Sonoma!!! When we arrived in the evening Diana & Jeff (the owners) left the lights on for us with fresh flowers from her garden, soft music & a bottle of sparkling Sonoma wine for us to enjoy (Which we were to exhausted to drink but we appreciated the thought).
We considered staying in town for convenience which friends had recommended but we wanted a view that we could not get in Pittsburgh & boy did we get one. Pictures will not even do it justice it is amazing. Diana was very quick to answer any questions & gave lots of helpful info to make our trip perfect. We hired a driver (Steve) from Wine Country Drivers that drives your rental car for you. This saves a little money & you can sit back & relax & enjoy the wine tasting.Take a drive to the Pacific coast & visit Bodega Bay & the Redwood trees in armstrong Woods. Well worth the hour drive. This was a great visit to California & highly recommend it! We hope to visit again soon. -

One of the main reasons we wanted to vacation in Sonoma was to enjoy the amazing landscape of the wine country. I chose Sonoma Meadow House because it provided the views we were hoping for. I tell ya, it did not disappoint. There was no need to dine out because we had a full kitchen and our own private balcony. The firepit kept us warm in the morning and outdoor hot tub warmed us up in the evening.
When I ran into one of the owners in her garden I told her I was surprised she didn't live there herself because it was so nice. She said she had actually never even spent the night there. She'd rather reserve it for guests like us to enjoy. I'm a little envious that she gets to call this place home. But feel incredibly blessed that she shares it with visitors like me! -

Anyone who stays at this house and has anything negative to say is crazy. This is what home rental is about. A beautiful house in a beautiful location with everything in the house done just right. I could move in tomorrow! Great for two couples or just for a romantic getaway. A+++

We have stayed at a number of vacation rental home over the years and this one is at the top of our list. The views from the deck are absolutely incredible. We appreciated the set up of two master suites. Loved the art on the walls and the double claw foot tubs on the deck. So peaceful and relaxing.

Our trip to Sonoma Meadow house was incredible. This home has amazing decks and views. There was lots to do in wine country and in Sonoma but I didn't want to leave the house because it was so enjoyable to sit on the deck, take in the beautiful views and enjoy the peace and quiet. The house itself is a work of art, every detail is so well thought out and unique. We look forward to returning to Sonoma Meadow House!

Monterey, CAPhenomenal Experience- Can't beat the Location/Value
Left on 10/14/2011 for a stay in September 2011
This was truly an unforgettable vacation. I don't have really any experience with vacation rentals, but this seemed "just right" as price wise it bridged the gap between the Best Western and a Honeymoon Suite at the most expensive hotels. However, what we got was much more than any honeymoon suite would have offered. The privacy and beauty of the house itself in addition to the surrounding area was magnificent. Standing on the huge deck, you only see vineyards and mountains in all directions. It's absolutely incredible. If you only want to go to the local wineries, that is perfect, however we made little day trips out of the different regions of wine country and then ate dinner in Sonoma Square (15 minute drive away from the house). There are some very popular restaurants in Sonoma Square that people travel to the area just to go to. Each morning we started our day brewing a pot of coffee, and making two side-by-side bubblebaths outside on the deck. I cannot wait for another opportunity to do something half as good.

Fabulous location perched on top of the mountain looking into the valleys below...We booked this house for a weekend away with friends and were not disappointed. The house is simply stunning with tasteful furnishings, an incredible kitchen (although we couldn’t find a kettle and didn’t realise there was boiling water on tap for tea) and incredible wrap around deck. With such unparalleled views we chose to BBQ on the terrace each night rather than eat out, having enjoyed the local wineries and the Napa Valley Wine Train during the day...not forgetting the cheeky jacuzzi & outdoor shower. If we return to the area I doubt anywhere else would compare and have already recommended to friends.

Sonoma Meadow House was everything expected as advertised - and much more. The views truly are spectacular...we enjoyed hours on the fantastic deck sipping wine with friends and even sat in the tub in the rain to watch the fog. This is a home to find true relaxation and we are already planning our return.

We travel a lot and this was probably the best vacation we have ever had. The Sonoma House was beautiful. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The view was unbelievable and we were close to all the wineries and restaurants we wanted to visit. . We rented a covertible and enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery. We are planning on going back to wine country and would not consider staying anywhere but Sonoma House.

There is not enough that can be said about Meadow House or it's owners, Jeff and Diana. Every detail has been given an artists touch and one wants for nothing during his/her stay. The view alone is worth renting Meadow House - which can be seen from every room in the house as well as from 2 different decks. The Meadow House feels like you are alone on a mountain top. To add to the luxury, there is a hotub and 2 side-by-side claw foot bathtubs on the deck. If you are looking for a perfectly romantic and exceptionally unique getaway, you could not do better than Meadow House. In fact, my husband proposed to me there :).

Dallas TXThe best vacation home we have ever stayed in...period.
Left on 10/02/2009 for a stay in May 2009
This is one of those places that is hard to describe and can only be fully appreciated when experienced. While being close to everything, it is one of most private homes we have ever had the joy to visit. You have to drive up a little mountain and this home is sort of perched on a ledge overlooking beautiful vineyards and very agreeable scenery. Their patio is bigger than the home itself and has everything on it that you can think of. The home itself is very nicely built with a very open concept (lots of large windows, all rooms open into the patio, one open restroom!) and has all the amenities one would need to just want to stay put. The owners were very diligent about keeping the place ready for our visit and then letting it feel as private as possible.
We definitely plan on revisiting! -

My wonderful husband is always on a quest to surprise and delight me, Sonoma Meadow House was a weekend dream come true. To say we love it, truly is not doing it justice. We loved the ever changing magnificent views, watching the fog roll in. My favorite amenitie was the two outdoor claw foot bathtubs. My idea of heaven, breathtaking view, being in nature, relaxing in a very private tub with my honey with only our sunglasses on. We love the beautiful art as well throughout the home. The kitchen has all of the comforts of home,There is a hot tub, a grill, the bedroom has an outstanding view and luxerious linens, there are movies, games and books should you so desire. Sonoma Meadow House soothes and feeds the Soul on every level. We have reccomended it to all of our friends and we can't wait to return, it is truly Heaven on Earth.

Left on 09/27/2009 for a stay in June 2009
This house is a beautiful and secluded retreat with all the amenities that make for a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The house was fully outfitted with all the necessities. We never found ourselves needing something that was not there.
The House is awesome. Plenty of space, great outdoor luxuries, including lounge chairs, table, bathtubs, and hot tub.
The location is exquisite. The pictures do not do it justice. The house overlooks vineyards and the rolling hills of Sonoma. Watching the stars at night with such dark skies is a treat. This is a great location to explore wine country. We also found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the house.
If you are in Sonoma, stay at the Meadow House.

We stayed at the Sonoma Meadow House for four nights - which wasn't enough! The house and its wonderful amenities were only upstaged by the gorgeous surroundings that engulf the house. The location couldn't be more private; however, just a few miles away you can enjoy downtown Sonoma, and local (very friendly and unpretentious) wineries. There's some great dining in the area but we chose to do most of our eating on the wraparound deck at Sonoma Meadow House! There isn't a more beautiful place for a relaxing getaway.

Left on 09/23/2009 for a stay in August 2009
This is THE BEST in the area. Completely private (no one in sight for miles
and miles) gorgeous views (you can see all the way to SF) beautiful
vineyards. Just unbelievable. There is nothing in the area that comes close
in comparison for the price. The accommodation itself is so well thought
out. Great kitchen. The beds are comfortable. It is completely charming.
Totally cool artwork. If we could buy it and move there we would do it in a
heartbeat. It is set up great for two couples with lots of separation. There
is one bedroom suite on one side and then another on the other side of the
kitchen/living room in it's own separate space. Really nice deck too. Each
suite has it's own deck area.
The pictures do not do this place justice. It is way way better. It is so
stunningly panoramic I think it would be impossible to capture it in
pictures. Anyway, go there you will not regret it. Oh and did I mention
peaceful and totally quiet. Believe me this is a slice of heaven.

Other than the great view of the Sonoma Valley, the amenities were great too! We made good use of the well-appointed kitchen, as well as the gas grill on the deck outside. We also enjoyed the great view from the hot tub! Whenever we return to Sonoma, we hope to include another visit to the Sonoma Meadow House!

We found the solar powered(green)Sonoma Meadow House wonderful. It was very well stock with anything anyone would need. It had great views, cozy beds, hot tub, & was beautifully decorated. The owners are very helpful & sweet people. It is on a windy small road, but when you get to the end it is breath taking & you will not want to leave, so bring plenty of wine & food. It is not far from any of the wineries. Will we return, probably next year, but for a longer period of time. It is a must!
