IstanbulGreat location on Sonoma Square
Left on 06/05/2013 for a stay in June 2013
Absolutely as advertised...clean, spacious and extremely well located. Easy access to excellent restaurants and shops. Although we did not cook, there was a very well stocked pantry and excellent utensils.

Austin, TexasSonoma getaway
Left on 05/14/2013 for a stay in May 2013
This is an older house that has been dramatically updated. There are three suites. We stayed in #151 (the front suite, downstairs) over a weekend. The space is clean, well-lighted, and furnished perfectly for a multi-day stay (every appliance you might need, including a blender). French doors open onto the front porch. The rooms are not huge, but feel very comfortable. The beds are both kings. The baths both have double sinks. The furniture is from Pottery Barn. It is very convenient to Sonoma Square (a block away). The photos of the front yard do not do it justice - it is nicer. Only downside was some noise (not bad) from the upstairs neighbors and from the street (with the french doors open) on Friday & Saturday nights. Overall, a very nice space in an excellent location

This was a wonderful getaway place with everything you need. Full kitchen with very nice appliances and with washer and dryer. The balcony was great and relaxing. Two couples fit perfectly and comfortably in this great space. It was just one block from Sonoma square. The beds were extremely comfortable and the living room and kitchen were beautiful. Definitely a place we would return. No real check in or check out. Everything is handled by email and it was so easy.

Left on 03/05/2013 for a stay in March 2013
This place is immaculate, well appointed, and the location could not be better!!! Kitchen just right anything you need to prepare some cheeses then sit back and sip some of the wines you have purchased, on the wonderful front porch. One of the best girlfreind get together places as both of the bathrooms have modern granite double sinks.
If you are going to Sonoma and want some room for your group to sit and relax not in a hotel setting... Give this one a try. We will be back ! -

Northville, New YorkWonderful week stay at auberge
Left on 12/19/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We traveled to Sonoma and spent a week with our friends and shared the two bed two bath with them. The location to downtown Sonoma could not be any better. Located next door to everything needed. The home was spotless and nicely decorated and was equipped with everything you could possible need. Oh yeah the front porch was also great. We would absolutely stay here again.

Hinsdale, ILperfect location!
Left on 12/03/2012 for a stay in November 2012
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend at the end of November. Our host provided excellent online service prior to arrival. Everything was just lovely. Location is fantastic--- We were a stone's throw to some great restaurants, and despite the unending downpour of rain the whole weekend, we managed to really enjoy ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised by the interior decor, which really had a lovely flair. My favorite thing was the fireplace, which we could turn on with the flip of a switch. We enjoyed it so much and used it to cozy up the place since it was dreary and raining out the whole time. Could have used a couple of books or current magazines that were not just wine-related, but that is just my thought, something on local antiques,(there are some great place within a short drive) or a book on Northern California travel might be nice. My husband remarked several times how much he really liked the fantastic water pressure in the shower (it was really great.) Our host dropped by with a large umbrella, which was a nice touch since we really needed it. And the mattresses were very comfortable! A minor inconvenience was that we could hear the people upstairs a few times (it is an old house afterall), but we just knew it was part of the ambience of staying in an old house. All in all, a wonderful alternative to a hotel, would be great for couples on vacation. Thanks for a great stay.

Dallas, TXPerfect Stay in Sonoma
Left on 11/06/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We were a group of two couples staying in unit 153, which is on the bottom floor in the back. Our requirements were two bathrooms and King beds within walking distance to Sonoma square. We didn't get the king beds - should have planned earlier - but I don't think anyone even noticed. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. I only wish we had been there enough to enjoy the great patio. It had most things we needed, and everything was brand new and extremely comfortable.
If we were coming back to Sonoma again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again... or recommend it to anyone! -

Left on 10/12/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We stayed in #155 which is the whole of the top floor, a wonderful two bedroomed town house. The large enclosed deck was well used to enjoy a wine at days end. Great facilities, neat and tidy, credit to all those who made our stay just right. Literally a stones throw from the town square, handy to restaurants and wine bars.

Left on 09/16/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We were blown away at the accomodations! The space was beautifully appointed, spacious, and very well situated. We could walk everywhere in and around the square and were at an easy driving distance to most of the wineries in the region. Not to mention that it also was a great value. I highly recommend it.

We recently stayed at the auberge Sonoma for three nights to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We loved Suite 153! It was airy, comfortable and perfect for our group of 4. The kitchen is well stocked and the porch in the back is great for dinner after a day of wine-tasting or coffee in the morning. The beds were very comfy and bathrooms well-designed and the water pressure in the shower is amazing. We happened to be there on a Tuesday night when the local farmer's market was going on in the town square (only a block away) so we took a bottle of wine and a blanket and enjoyed local foods and music. Delightful. There are also great walking trails in the area. We would highly recommend staying at the auberge!

My sister and I went to Sonoma and stayed at auberge. This place is amazing. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with just about everything you need but the best feature is the patio. The location is also perfect and within walking distance of downtown. I will without hesitation stay at auberge on my next trip to Sonoma.

Left on 07/16/2012 for a stay in May 2012
Why are there three loves in the title of this review?
Because we loved the ease of making reservations online, and the fact that the access code to our suite was emailed to us before we left for California. We were able to unlock the door, move in, and immediately make ourselves at home.
We loved the suite! It was perfect for two couples traveling together, very clean and neat, furnished beautifully, and the bathrooms were great.
We loved the location. It is just steps from Sonoma Square!! -

We chose auberge Sonoma #151 based on perfect accommodstions for two couples, We especially liked the fact that both bedrooms had king beds and ensuite bathrooms. The suite was very well decorated aand comfortable. We also loved being so close to Sonoma's town square with so many restaurants and shops. It was also a great place to stay in order to visit Sonoma and Russian River Wineries. We loved our balloon ride over Sonoma and Russia. river ...Up and away Ballooning...Chateau St Jean and Ravenswood were excellent wineries...also Jacuzzi winery is a great stop for local olive oil tastings...,thanks for a woderful time.

This huge upstairs unit is in a completely remodeled older home in a great location near the Sonoma square. The kitchen is very nice and modern, great showers and beds, nice closets, everything you need in a home away from home. The fireplace was wonderful in the morning, the huge deck with very comfortable furniture was great for relaxing. The owner was easy to communicate with, easy reservations and helpful with planning, the wine pass is nice to have to save on tastings. Would return in a heartbeat!

Auberge Sonoma was perfection. It was steps away from the main center and the parking in the back was helpful. We had two couples staying in room 151 and there was plenty of room for all of us. We took advantage of the fridge, utensils and tupperware when we got lots of snack to take on our tasting tour with us. The furniture was very cozy and layout was spacious and comfortable. Even the shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower dispenser were great! The complimentary booklet of tastings saved us a small fortune in tasting fees and they were all delicious. I'll definitely be staying at auberge Sonoma again, I couldn't have gotten luckier with my first pick!

This apartment was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The location was right next to the square for optimal convenience. Evenings on the private porch were lovely and the beds/linens were heavenly. We would definitely recommend this apartment for two couples or a girls getaway. Byron provided helpful information and all communication was timely and professional.

Stayed in late Oct. Good parking, overall clean, well furnished. Not what we expected for the price, ok , its Sonoma. Owner absentee. Sent text to manager on a couple minor issues, never heard back, may have been on vacation. As with other B+Bs/condos, got card for free wine tastings, which was a good value. Loved Sonoma, would probably check out other options next time

I had the lovely opportunity of staying at auberge Sonoma for 5 days/4 nights at the end of September with my family and a friend and loved it. The suite was stunning...and there is no other place we could have stayed that would have been as nice and convenient.
We stayed in Suite 155, which was the entire top floor of auberge Sonoma. The two large bedrooms, each with a full bathroom, lovely sunny hallway, huge walk-out veranda, family room, dining area and kitchen were very well maintained and nice and bright.
I will definitely be staying at auberge Sonoma another time...I cannot wait! -

This was our first time in Sonoma and it won't be our last. The cottage is situated in a prime area. It's walking distance to the square, restaurants, shops etc. The suite (153) was charming and immaculately clean. A pack of Starbucks coffee and biscotti were supplied when we arrived (very nice touch).
We look fwd to booking again next fall! -

Suite 153 is a 2 bdrm, 2 bath suite with full kitchen and living room with cable, DVD player, fireplace and free us calls. It is on the back of the house, so there is no street noise. The suite is located just steps from the town square with restaurants and shopping. 2 grocery stores are also within easy walking distance. Byron provided excellent instructions for use of the suite as well as local information and area attractions and communicates very well as you are planning your trip. Excellent, spacious option for a stay in the town of Sonoma.

The location is amazing, the beds are comfortable, the decor is cute, but the best part is the management. The owner is so nice and accommodating I will always go to him to rent places in Sonoma. I spent my wedding weekend here and know I will be back for years to come.
