We invite you to spend time in our lovely log home in Sooke, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Eagle Crest Vacation Retreat is located a short 45 minute drive from bustling downtown Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia.
As you drive through the rainforest to this magnificent home you are at once overcome by the stunning visual of a log mansion with a view that normally you only dream about. We read in the Guest Book that 'Eaglecrest is not just a little piece of Heaven, it's a big chunk of it...'. Well put! From the start, Kirk made us feel comfortable with this amazing log home. It's big to start, over three floors, each way has a stunning view and a deck to enjoy it from. We really savoured our family Bbqs on the ocean facing deck, memories were made. The wind in the pines is very special. Eaglecrest provides quiet corners for reading, emailing and napping. But equally the main lounge can easily host larger family groups. After a long challenging hike in the neighbouring East Sooke Park the maple sleigh bed with it's ocean view reflecting the stars and mountains was welcomed! Can't wait to return!
