Description from the owner
A private, self-contained apartment with parking located in a villa built in the family's former 'Cave di Pietra' (Quarry) 50 metres high on the side of the (now) National Park. The area contains 3 private villa's and an olive grove and is located just 1.5km from the centre of town. Two bicycles are available for the energetic or 24 hour taxi service for those who don't want to walk. Peace and tranquility reign here but Rome is just 75 km away. Naples and Florence are accessible as is Montecassino and other historic sites. Festivities abound all summer long and if you are searching for your family roots a genealogist is right next door!

Sore is a lovely town just outside of Rome. The downtown has all the top notch shops that you'd find in Rome but without the mass of tourists.
Be sure to visit the monastery outside of town (with it's unique Pompei-inspired pagan murals), and take a walk up to the castle for a beautiful view of the city.
And ask ann and Enzo for the best pizza place - I've never met it's equal - and for the local specialty bread.
Such an amazing visit! I can't wait to go back. -
