Nice apartments (there are four) for four situated in the heart of Sorrento, near restaurants, bars, shops, disco. Del Corso apartments are ideal for you if you like to spend your holiday in the center of the town and you do not intend to drive.
The bus station for Positano, Amalfi and Ravello and the Circumvesuviana train station for Pompeii and Naples are at less than 300 meters away. The hydrofoil for Capri is at less than 400 meters away. The nearest airport is Capodichino Naples fro witch you can take the Curreri bus (10,00 Euro each) or a taxi and in less than one hour you will be in Sorrento.

Some of the apartments are located on the first floor with elevator some on the second floor without elevator. Some of them have small balconies facing the main street Corso Italia from where you can enjoy a spledid view of the city, other are facing on the back yard.
There is a public car park 200 meters away.
A car is not necessary because the bus stop is 50 meters away and the station for the local train is 400 metres away. The beach facilities are located about 250 meters away from the centre of Sorrento.
The Cathedral, the Kiosk of S. Francis, and the public park are only a stroll away. The park has gardens which lead you to the sea, and from there you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Gulf of Naples, from the island of Procida to Mount Vesuvius. You can also enjoy a walk along the elegant main street or through the narrow alleyways of the historical part of town, which are rich with local craft shops.
From the apartment you can get to these famous places either by ferry or organised tourist trips. By train you can easily visit Pompeii, Vesuvius, the Caserta Palace and other attractions.

Gianni and Lucio couldn't have been nicer and more attentive. They met us at the front door and carried our luggage up. It was a 2nd floor walkup, however it turned out to be 4 flights of stairs. But we handled it even though we are both pushing 80. Would not recommend this for most seniors or people with disabilities.
The location was superb - just off Taso square. Supermarket, banks, restaurants, pastry shops, railroad station all within a 5 min. walk.
The apartment was huge. Very clean although sparsely furnished. Beds were extremely comfortable. It was bright and sunny and you could stand on the small balcony and people watch. Even though we were on a busy street it was very quiet at night, especially once we closed the shutters.
Only down side was the lack of an elevator. -

The apartment is located right in the heart of Sorrento, only meters from the main square. There is a real sense of atmosphere in the evenings. Every amenity you could think of is close by. The place was lovely and spotless. The staff were friendly and gave us a great tip on where to eat. I'd certainly recomend staying here.

I shared this apartment with 3 other single middle-aged women for one week. The apartment we occupied was on the second floor (no lift, but wide easy stairs). Unexpectedly the flat had 2 shower rooms (each with toilet and basin) but not all flats have that apparently. One shower cubicle is very small but was ok for us.The flat was clean and simply furnished. The beds were very comfortable and made up with nice clean sheets. One person slept on the sofa bed which was adequately comfortable and very large. Very easy to operate. The only slight criticism is that the cooking facilities are very basic - 2 hobs and a microwave. But we weren't there to cook! I think the owner could include a toaster though for English holidaymakers! The main advantage is the location on Corsa Italia, Sorrento's main street. And the only night there was any noise to speak of was the saturday. All in all a good, budget priced apartment.

Our favorite place to enjoy the Italian pace of life! Perfect weather, great location, impecable service! Will do this again...hopefully very soon!
