La Marinella offers guests the chance to spend their holidays in an elegant eighteenth-century building just 50 metres from the Marinella beach.

Nine new apartments just a short distance from the sea, designed to guarantee an unforgettable break in Sorrento: a fully renovated facility where guests will find attractive, comfortable apartments equipped with a full range of facilities and offering spectacular views over the Gulf of Naples.

The holiday residence is situated in the most beautiful part of Sant'Agnello, a delightful little town just 1 km away from its better-known neighbour Sorrento.

Thanks to a special agreement b...etween the two structures, at the Marinella beach resort, guests staying at Residence La Marinella may use a series of amenities such as the restaurant, bar, snack bar, tobacconist and newsagent, beach umbrellas, beach cabins and more besides.

Car parking facilities are available next to the residence, at a cost of 15 euros per week.

Just a few metres from the Relais Residence La Marinella you will find restaurants, bars and clubs.

Medical services, babysitting services and organised trips are available on request.

The town centre is within easy walking distance, and here you will find the SITA bus stop for services to Positano and Sorrento, as well as shops of all kinds and restaurants to suit all tastes.

The railway station (Circumvesuviana line) is just 700 metres away, and a 20 minute trip will take you to the archaeological site at Pompei. Further down the same line are Ercolano and Naples.

Residence La Marinella in Sant'Agnello, near Sorrento, is the ideal choice for a wonderful holiday in the Sorrento Peninsula, where you can enjoy marvellous nature walks amid the olive groves and orange trees that add a dash of colour to the landscape, follow the fascinating nature trails that lead to the nearby Monte Faito and the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella, or discover the surrounding area on trips to Capri, Pompei, Ercolano, Naples, the Flegrean Fields, Salerno, Paestum and the enchanting Amalfi Coast.

Capri is a simple, comfortable apartment for four, measuring around 40 m2. It is equipped with air conditioning and a TV.

Capri is located on the ground floor of the building, and can be reached from the main entrance to Residence La Marinella.

You will also find a small kitchenette in the living area, with two electric rings, a fridge and a freezer.

The sitting room leads to the bedroom, which is furnished with a double bed and a spacious wardrobe, and is equipped with a TV and air conditioning.

  I have no complaints about the flat itself-- everything as described and shown. The staff was very helpful
  However, it should also say, 'All bets are off in the off-season.' And, the 'season' starts mid-April, not Easter as in many other places.
  The beach wasn't open, the bus into Sorrento runs very infrequently. Also, the train between Naples and Sorrento doesn't always stop in Sant agnello, and we ended up having to pay 20 Euros for a taxi as we didn't have the energy to walk the 20-30 minutes with luggage, after dark, not knowing where we were going.
  Avoid taxis in the area if you can-- they are very expensive. The buses are inexpensive and easy-- when you can get one. (Much better after mid-April.)

  Comfortable but a bit too far from the life and services of Sorr

  Forget the main picture presenting the apartment on Tripadviser.It is near the sea but offers no such gorgeous view. In fact it is situated directly on a very narrow street in Sant agnello with nothing to see but the wall of the house in front. On the other hand it is very comfortable and offers all the aminities that that we expected,including wi-fi. We found it interesting but too far. Sant agnello is not realy Sorrento.

  Comfortable and secure at "home base" to Capri, Pompeii and Cook

  We enjoyed our stay in the Capri apt. Simple and complete with stove and refrig. The building is big and solid with a secure entrance way. A beautiful patio space is available to relax in or hang clothes to dry. A pleasant walk to the swimming area and wonderful restaurants. Limoncello store very close by! Sorrento is only 1.5miles away and an easy walk along beautiful streets. The land lady is kind and quick to fulfill requests.

  Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and historical. Location was perfect near water and amenities, short walk to town. Charming location. No comfortable place to sleep or sit.
