La Marinella offers guests the chance to spend their holidays in an elegant eighteenth-century building just 50 metres from the Marinella beach.

Nine new apartments just a short distance from the sea, designed to guarantee an unforgettable break in Sorrento: a fully renovated facility where guests will find attractive, comfortable apartments equipped with a full range of facilities and offering spectacular views over the Gulf of Naples.

The holiday residence is situated in the most beautiful part of Sant'Agnello, a delightful little town just 1 km away from its better-known neighbour Sorrento.

Thanks to a special agreement b...etween the two structures, at the Marinella beach resort, guests staying at Residence La Marinella may use a series of amenities such as the restaurant, bar, snack bar, tobacconist and newsagent, beach umbrellas, beach cabins and more besides.

Car parking facilities are available next to the residence, at a cost of 15 euros per week.

Just a few metres from the Relais Residence La Marinella you will find restaurants, bars and clubs.

Medical services, babysitting services and organised trips are available on request.

The town centre is within easy walking distance, and here you will find the SITA bus stop for services to Positano and Sorrento, as well as shops of all kinds and restaurants to suit all tastes.

The railway station (Circumvesuviana line) is just 700 metres away, and a 20 minute trip will take you to the archaeological site at Pompei. Further down the same line are Ercolano and Naples.

Residence La Marinella in Sant'Agnello, near Sorrento, is the ideal choice for a wonderful holiday in the Sorrento Peninsula, where you can enjoy marvellous nature walks amid the olive groves and orange trees that add a dash of colour to the landscape, follow the fascinating nature trails that lead to the nearby Monte Faito and the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella, or discover the surrounding area on trips to Capri, Pompei, Ercolano, Naples, the Flegrean Fields, Salerno, Paestum and the enchanting Amalfi Coast.

Sorrento is a simple, comfortable apartment for three people, measuring around 30 m2 and equipped with a TV and air conditioning.

Sorrento is located on the ground floor of the building, and is accessible through the main entrance of Residence La Marinella.

The sitting room is simply and comfortably furnished, with a table for four and a single sofa bed.

The living area also has a kitchenette, equipped with two electric cooking rings, a fridge and a freezer.

The sitting room leads to the bedroom, where you will find a double bed and a spacious wardrobe.

From the bedroom you can reach a small terrace equipped with a little table, chairs and a beach umbrella.

  This is an excellent apartment with every convenience that you could require: good air conditioning, fridge, gas hob, comfortable bed, an outdoor terrace, good shower and bathroom. There is also a twice weekly maid service for towels etc. The apartment is located within a recently renovated historic building and run by a very helpful and extremely friendly lady, Carla. As a host, she is faultless. I cannot speak highly enough of the accomodation and hope to visit again - it contributed to a wonderful and unforgettable holiday.
  The location of Sant'Agnello is a fair distance from Sorrento and anyone new to the area should be aware that Sorrento is quite a walk - especially in the sun! The bus service can be rather erratic, also - in theory, there is a bus route that picks up near to the accomodation (linea C) but it is rather hit and miss. The bus to and from the centre of Sant'Agnello/Sorrento is, however, regular. As a location, Sant'Agnello is charming and visitors should take time to appreciate the area and not just focus on Sorrento itself. Within 5 minutes of the accomodation are two excellent restaurants and a bar that opens until 1 in the morning where you can sip cocktails and gaze out over the bay of Naples...is anything better than that?
  If you can, I would urge anyone to stay at this apartment and experience the pleaures of Sant'Agnello. However, make sure you take a map when you arrive into Sant'Agnello so that you can find the apartment easily - we didn't and briefly got lost!
