We stayed in I monolocali for five nights. The best thing about it of course is the view from the terrace over the gulf and the Vesuv. The appartment itself is furnished in a typical Ikea style and includes everything you need. There are two bus stop in 10 minutes walking distance - Hotel Jaccarino down the road to Priora or Hotel Due Golfi in Sant'Agata - where you can go to Sorrento or the amalfi coast (you should buy a ticket in advance, the bus driver had only tickets which where valid 30 minutes which isn't enough). But nevertheless a car is useful to go to the beach or the supermarket.
In and around the appartment you can't really do something else then watching the bay. There is a TV but only with italian channels (we had some rainy evenings and not enough books...) and you can't really make a walk or do something in the neighborhood. But we expected that from the description.
I monolocali is difficult to find so the owners proposed to meet in their office and they showed us the way. Be aware that the office is in Sant'Agata/Massa Lubrense. The same address exists also in Sorrento and it took us two hours to figure out what went wrong... -

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in St agatha dui Golfi about a fifteen minute drive or twenty minute bus ride above Sorrento. The apartment is a large and airy fairly well appointed with a lovely balcony overlooking the Golfe of Napoli. Sergio and Crecenzo at Feeling Italy were very helpful and accessible and had a great welcome package awaiting us. They printed off a bus schedule to Sorrento and amalfi the latter a must do but not in your own vehicle!! If you book this place and drive there make sure you put in your GPS that the town is St agatha dui Golfe or use the lat & long coordinates that they will provide. There are great restaurants nearby by in St agatha. Our personal favorite was Mimi's.

idéalement situé pour visiter Sorrente, capri, mais aussi la côte amalfitaine. pour notre 2eme séjour à I Monolocali (c'est dire que nous avions été satisfaits de notre 1er séjour)accueil toujours aussi sympathique et appartement impeccable pour passer des vacances réussies.(parking sécurisé devant l'appartement, wifi,barbecue)
pour un séjour long manque peut etre un lave linge.

Beautiful view from the terrace and is modern furnished. With a ladder to top is the sleeping area and the bed is delicious. Compact and well-organized.
Every day by the week you get clean towels and also cleaned. In the weekend is the variable. Because the mountainous rent a Scooter or a car
The keyholder Piero is a great person and If there are problems it is also quickly resolved. We had no hot water and the next day there was placed a new boiler.
We have a great 2 weeks and certainly we come back again.

Die insgesamt vier appartements befinden sich in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend oberhalb von Sorrent. (ca. 4 km ausserhalb) mit einem herrlichen ausblick auf den Golf von Sorrent und Neapel bzw auf den Vesuv.
In der näheren Umgebung befinden sich tolle Restaurants in denen vorwiegend Einheimische verkehren. Auto ist empfehlenswert. Der nächste Strand befindet sich ca. 20 Fahrminuten entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca. 5 Fahrminuten.
Sehr nette Vermieter die einem helfend unter die arme greifen.
Sehr empfehlenswert um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen- um vieles ruhiger als in Sorrent. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt bei der Unterkunft.
Tägliche Reinigung und Handtuchwechsel. Sonnenschirme auf der grossen Terrasse wäre sehr empfehlenswert. -

We were staying for a couple of nights at the Sorrento/Amalfi Coast and for two nights we stayed at I Monolocali. I can warmly recommend the place - it is very modern, clean, has a fantastic view overlooking the gulf of Sorrento. We had a wonderful time and I can only recommend the location!
Be sure to get in contact with the manager before you leave to Il Monolocali - the location is not very easy to find. But once you found it, you will love it:-)
