Description from the manager

The villa lies in a very panoramic position opposite the island of Capri, with a view of the entire Gulf of Naples, of the islands of Ischia and Procida, and of Naples all the way to Vesuvius.

It stands on the Sorrento peninsula in the village of Marciano just 2 kms from Massa Lubrense, where the lemon trees and olives slope gently down towards the crystal-clear blue sea. Villa del Rivo is a modern villa overseen by famous designers both in external renovation and in the interior furnishings, and is equipped with many, comfortable accessories: air-conditioning in all of the rooms, internet access, satellite-TV in all of the rooms on the... first floor and in the living-room, dishwasher, washing-machine and barbecue.

The external area consists of panoramic terraces furnished with living-areas, relaxation areas, tables for dining outside and a beautiful garden, where they have made a large private swimming-pool (8x12m) and part of the garden has been equipped with games for children. The rocky coastline of the promontory separates two lovely inlets where you will find some narrow roads that lead to the sea.

At the port of Massa Lubrense called Marina della Lobra, you can hire small boats and you can also hire exclusive trips by boat with a guide for the whole day for some fascinating days out. Sorrento is 9 kms away, Positano 20 kms and Naples 58 kms.

Ground Floor: covered external area furnished with tables, chairs and easy chairs, 8 double bedrooms with 8 ensuite bathrooms of which 7 have showers and 1 has a bath-tub, access to the external area at the rear and passage to the swimming-pool and sunbathing terrace.

First Floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, living-room, kitchen with access to the terrace furnished with tables and deckchairs.Laundry.

  This was the best week we had in a long time. The extended family travels annually for a get together and this time we were in Vila del Rivo which was the reason for the great experience. The place is very spacious which we liked a lot so that everyone can get a bit of privacy. The 'community' space: veranda, pool, kitchen, roof etc, are all spacious enough to hold all the guest and have fun together. Plenty of parking spaces is a plus too. The view from the villa is just fabulous! unique. Best of all this comes with the "built in" Mr. Pasquale who is the resident chef who cooked for us every day a different dinner of the menu of our choice, and actually became one of the family. What can I say, it's the best.
