Casa Josephine is a full rental house with capacity for 10-12 people: 4 double rooms and a triple room, 4 bathrooms, 2 large living / dining rooms, and fully equipped kitchen. The house is fully equipped and has wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Casa Josephine is in Sorzano, a small town in the middle of vineyards in the heart of La Rioja, near the wineries designed by Frank Gehry, Santiago Calatrava and Zaha Hadid. We are 1 hour south of Bilbao (the nearest airport), 1 hour west of Pamplona and less than 2 hours from San Sebastian. La Rioja is a region dedicated to agriculture, crafts and gastronomy. The Camino de Santiago crosses the region, and medieval walled towns, impressive churches, castles have flourished throughout history ... The culinary wealth of La Rioja is wide and varied: from restaurants with Michelin stars to local taverns, our region invites to a total immersion in its gastronomy. Casa Josephine was remodeled in 2006. Thanks to her style (calm, relaxed and comfortable), she has appeared in Elle Deco, Vogue, LivingEtc, Casa & Campo, etc. She was a finalist in Condé Nast Traveler as one of the top- 10 in Spain, and was recommended in the New York Times as a 'stylish accommodation' that guarantees the experience of a 'complete cultural immersion'.
