We loved this rental- There was enough space for folks to get away from each other when needed. Nice,functional kitchen. We loved the front and side porch. Used the driveway area for many nice outside meals. My only complaint was I did not like walking directly into the dining room. The service was excellent and will return for our next family reunion.

We travel to South Haven every summer with our two kids and one friend each. We have used Shores Vacation Rentals for several years and have never been disappointed. This past summer we needed a larger place so we rented 554 Indiana. Everyone absolutely loved it! It has everything we could have wanted and it was just charming. Only a couple of blocks from the beach and only a little further from town. Since we went in early June this year, it was no big deal that the living areas were not air conditioned. All four bedrooms have unit air conditioners with one bedroom being on the first floor, so we could open the door and place a fan in the doorway to distribute some cooler air. However, the kitchen heats up pretty quickly if we used the oven so we cooked most of our meals on the grill out back. All in all we are very satisfied and have already booked this property for the upcoming summer.

We rented once again with Shores of South Haven (whom we have always rented with) they are awesome to work with. This time not only was my sister and her family joining us but also my 80year old parents who had never been to South Haven. This house was great!! It had the perfect set-up with 3 bedrooms upstairs (one for the kids - 1 for each of the couples) and then 1 bedroom downstairs for my folks. This home is equal distance to the beach and town and we walked every where. My parents really enjoyed being close enough to St. Basil the Catholic Church so they could attend daily mass. Would like to have the yard space set up a little better - we ended up moving the outdoor table to the driveway for outdoor eating (which we did every night) - it worked for us. We enjoyed a great family week!!

There were five families represented with six adults and one toddler. We fixed our breakfast and found the kitchen to be adquate. We found a bedroom that suited each individual. The sun porch was a delightful place to have early morning coffee or late night talks. The location was excellent since it was close to the beach, but also had a secluded effect. Shores Vacation Rentals service was superb. I had never used a service such as this before and they were so helpful. They never showed one bit of impatience with me and believe me they could have. They walked me through everything. I highly recomended them. One of the ladies who travels a lot said, "This is the way to vacation." The dining room was lovely with the chandelier, the living area was very comfortable. The only regret was, we were there for our granddaughters high school graduation and therefore were to busy to really get to enjoy the facilities as much as we would like to have.
