Located in a historic part of South Haven, this turn of the century home will accommodate 10 guests in 6 bedrooms with 2 baths. Listen to the waves of Lake Michigan from the screened porch, enjoy watching the kids play in the large yard, or take a short walk up the riverfront to the marina to watch the boats on the Black River or to town for some Sherman's Ice Cream. Just 1 block to South Beach.

We were thrilled with the new kitchen. The tables were easily put together in the dining room for many meals together.
The yard was in great condition. The firepit was nice to enjoy. The grill was good too.
Bedrooms were as described, but the only reason we don't give it 5 stars is the mattress in 2 rooms were noise! The worst was the room with the crib. Our child using the crib woke each time someone moved in the bed!
The front porch was not user friendly as it smelled like it had been unused for a long time and all but 1 window was nailed shut.
We'd go back in a heartbeat if there was a pull out couch or they allowed a tent in the yard.
The walk to the beach was so easy. The area was very quiet. -

I know that this is a decent house. It accomodated our children and grandchildren, a total of 9. We did stay in it two years in a row. It is an old house and is charming, but, it could use an update in the two bathrooms. The air conditioning did not work for several days. The rental company was great, though, in trying to fix things fast.

We enjoyed staying in
Driftwood Manor. The house had 2 sitting areas, a front porch, large dining area,outdoor deck and courtyard with a firepit.We walked to the beach each day.Also close to town but we drove.There were 3 rooms with double beds and the rest were twin rooms.The kitchen had an open feeling. There were 2 bathrooms.We would like to know more about the history of this house,as we had some unexpected visitors from the faraway past. We found it rather entertaining.We were able to get a little discount since we booked after labor day. The water was a little chilly but the kids didn't mind.Overall we would stay again.Probably in the off season for the discount.
