We had a great experience with Lakeshore Lodging. They were prompt and friendly and made the rental process a breeze. The home was everything we hoped it would be, vary spacious and comfortable. Loved it.
Great Views and Big Backyard! Fire Pit potentially dangerous.

The Lakeshore Lodging staff was great. Very friendly, professional, and on top of it. I'd definitely rent from them again. Checkin and Checkout were easy.
The property was secluded, private, and had great views. The kitchen area was very nice and we cooked some good meals there. The backyard is also great, as is the private beach. Just fantastic. Having a private beach with these views is really great - whether it's for a family trip or not.
We loved having a fire pit, but it is in a dangerous location. The property is on the top of a 100-foot cliff (which is why the views are so great). The fire pit is within 5 feet of the cliff, which I feel is dangerous and unnecessarily close to the cliff. When using the firepit, it will presumably be dark outside and it's very hard to see where the cliff begins. One person in my group slipped and started down the cliff. Luckily somebody grabbed him before any serious injuries (he just sprained his ankle) but I worry about a bonfire with younger kids. I think it could be moved closer to the house. The backyard is huge and there is lots of space so I think it could be moved.
The house is on the older side, but it's very nice. Some downfalls were there is no cable in the house. The 2 TVs only use antennas so we couldn't get many channels. It was only an issue because several people in my party wanted to watch a football game. We ended up going to a South Haven restaurant instead. The upstairs has window unit a/Cs which worked very well.
To recap - I'd potentially rent this house again, but definitely work with Lakeshore Lodging again. Read more
Thank you for providing your feedback on your experience with Lakeshore Lodging. Our knowledgeable staff is a point of pride and we are happy to know you were well served.
Your comments about the fire pit and lack of certain amenities have been noted and will be assessed as future improvements to the property. We certainly have other "on the beach" options with cable.

The staff at Lakeshore Lodging was first rate as always. I have rented three years with Lakeshore Lodging because of their staff! Just call once and you will see what I am talking about. Its all about service with Lakeshore Lodging. They will not disappoint you.
The home was beautiful. The decor was fresh and fun. A nice size house for a big group. Nice touch with adirondack chairs on beach and on lawn. The backyard was grand. Surrounded by trees and green grass. The beach was fun too. Private and clean. The outdoor shower was the best feature. Beautifully done with hard wood, nice
water pressure, hooks and places to set your shampoo. Its the little things! The one downside was the website said there was cable and window units upstairs. There were no window units! However, one call and four window units were put in within 24 hours. Is that service or what? The Lakeshore team was apologetic about the lack of cable. Unfortunately, the location of the house was a factor. But who cares, it made the kids play more and the adults talk more rather than sit around the tv. We loved our stay. Read more
What a great review... thank you so much for the kind words! We love doing everything we can to make incredible (and in this case, cool!) vacations and memories. Have you booked your stay with us again for this summer? We can't wait to have you back!

(PS - We're still trying to find a way to get cable out to that house-- we'll let you know!)
