Very quiet neighborhood, only three short blocks to south beach and four short blocks to the center of town. You are within walking distance to most of the attractions. There is a festival almost every weekend; go to the South Haven Visitor website for list of festivals and dates. Excellent rated restaurants such as Clementines Restaurant/Saloon, Su Casa (Spanish), Marias (Italian), Tellos (Italian), Captain Lous Bar and grill, The Idler Riverboat floating Restaurant, Captain Nemos, and York's Landing Bar and Grill. Michigan Theatre in town, and a shopping district filled with unique shops and boutiques. Visit the new Olive Cart in town and sample 52 different imported, infused olive oils and vinagrettes. Huge Farmers Market every Wednesday and Saturday under the huge pavillion on Phoenix street in town. Short walk to the Lighthouse and pier, yacht club, public marinas and Maritime Museum. Baseball field and Kids Corner Park is just two blocks away. Horse and Buggy Rides are at Phoenix and Broadway Streets. Watch the fabulous sunsets or board the Friends Good Will for a sunset cruise. Nearest golf course is in town a two mile drive. This is the location of the International Film Festival, Harbor Fest, Gus Macker annual basketball playoffs, National Blueberry Festival, and more. Live bands entertain at some of the festivals, and weekly Thursday night entertainment throughout the summer at the Marina Pavillion on Water Street.
