SacramentoSpacious and Clean
Left on 08/24/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We enjoyed our comfortable weekend stay very much. The owner and management were very responsive to our inquiries. The cabin was much more spacious than reflected in pictures. It was very clean and the cleaning fee was acceptable in comparison with other cabins. We loved the central location. It had free Wifi which was a big plus due to reception issues in South Lake Tahoe. The cabin was close to supermarkets and about a 5 min. drive to the casinos. The interior was very cozy and the kitchen had all the utensils needed for family dinners. Having said I feel there were a number of small inconveniences. If you have a low car such as corvette, you might not be able to park it the drive way without scrapping the bottom due to the height of the curb on the street. Since there is no street parking you can leave your car at the casinos or the supermarket. The neighbor's house is relatively close to the patio and since these cabins don't have aC their windows were open during our stay. This might become a problem if you are planning to use the cabin patio in the evenings. Also I wish there were more than two chairs available on the patio. Having said that, I would highly recommend this cabin as I feel it's a good bargain for the price.

San FranciscoQuiet, comfortable experience
Left on 08/24/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Our stay in Tahoe couldn't have been better. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom (although we ran out of TP by the last day!) There were more than enough comfortable options of places to sleep for all 14 of us.
The hot tub, deck and BBQ were wonderful too. The grocery store and Pope beach were just a short drive away.
I would definitely stay here again! -

San Jose, caBang for your Buck!
Left on 04/11/2012 for a stay in March 2012
Booked this house last minute and was pleasantly surprised at how much I was getting for the price. We had a large party and everyone was accommodated nicely. The homes lay out was perfect for a snow day. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows were available and the location was wonderful. Close to Raleys and CVS. We even walked to 7/11 in the snow!

Left on 03/20/2012 for a stay in March 2012
We had a great time at cabin in the wild. We stayed as a youth retreat from our church-- 6 adults, 13 teens... it worked just fine. The owner is very easy to work with and quick to respond to questions, which is very helpful. We found an excellent sledding hill, just down the street. We also loved the pizza at The Brewery in downtown.

This house was much nicer than we were expecting, given what a bargain it is. It comfortably fit 14 of us and had everything we needed (especially in the kitchen!) We had a great weekend and would definitely stay here again.

Left on 01/21/2012 for a stay in January 2012
We rented this cabin for a nice vacation getaway and were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was, especially considering the low cost! The property is located within a residential neighborhood, and so is more appropriate for people seeking quieter getaways. Definitely would rent again!

We had a great 4 days at this house. 10 of us made the trip. The house was easy to get to and in a very centrally located area which is very quiet. Close enough to the lake, and the casinos. The house is clean and very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and there was everything needed to cook. We will definitely be back.
reasonable priced for being high season.
Thanks! -

SacramentoExcellent Cabin for a Weekend Stay!
Left on 10/07/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We stayed at this cabin for a girls weekend and it was perfect we penty of room. My only complaint is that the beds are very firm and not very comfortable. But other then that it was very clean, roomy with a great kitchen for cooking. It was close enough to the the beach and the casinos for day trips and a night out. Overall it was a great weekend and I would stay there again.

San FranciscoComfortable and spacious cabin
Left on 10/04/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This cabin was perfect for us - we had 6 adults and 6 kids and there was room for all of us to spread out and relax. The cabin is comfortable and not fussy - which was perfect for us since we had small children. The kids slept in the bunk room and loved the trundle beds and bunk beds. The location was perfect - the cabin is in a quiet residential area that is so close to the supermarket and beaches, yet feels woodsy and peaceful. I went running in the mornings and found a beautiful meadow nearby with lots of wildflowers and a nice trail. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and pots. There was no food, not even salt and pepper, in the kitchen so make sure you bring everything that you need. There is a large dining room table, but we enjoyed most of our meals out on the spacious deck. I would definitely recommend this cabin. The only thing that we would wish for would be more lights in the living room/dining area; it was a little dark at night and it was hard to read in the evenings.

Palo Alto, CaliforniaGreat weekend in Tahoe!
Left on 07/12/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This is a treasure of a cabin. As the other reviews say, this cabin is much bigger than it looks like from the outside. The photos are accurate, but don't show how spacious it was. We were a group of 14 adults and everyone had space to sleep! Kitchen was well-stocked with equipment and had everything we needed. We cooked multi-course meals and grilled on the outdoor grill overlooking the backyard. Hot tub was roomy and so relaxing, we could gaze up into the trees above (there's even one on the deck!). Location was great, it was near grocery stores, places to eat, beaches, hikes. Everything was a walk or short drive away. Owner was prompt and friendly, answered all our questions. I recommend!! We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again!

Milpitas, CANice and cozy cabin for a family getaway
Left on 03/05/2011 for a stay in February 2011
My family and I were looking for a nice reasonably priced place that slept all of us comfortably (there were 15 of us). This cabin was perfect. It had a cozy feeling to it and the area was nice and quiet. The house was nicely equipped with pretty much everything you would need. It's very close to Raley's and other stores which made it convenient to make a quick run to the store for items that we had forgotten to bring along. We are hoping to rent this cabin again during the summer.

San Jose, CAWonderful Place - Great Hot Tub!
Left on 02/22/2011 for a stay in February 2011
This cabin was exactly what a group of us 20-somethings was looking for! The house was spacious, but cozy and warm. It is located only 5-10 minutes from Heavenly and the Casinos, so it was perfect for us. The neighborhood is quiet, so this is not a party house. If you are looking for a house to throw a party - go somewhere else. For our group, we wanted a place we could kick back and relax after a long day on the mountain, and this was exactly the place to do that. The hot tub was fabulous and we made good use of it. Big enough to fit about 8 people!
The kitchen is stocked with everything you will ever need to create a great meal. The family room area is nice and cozy and the beds are perfect for their purpose - sleep!
I won't say that the bedrooms are lavish by any means, but they are perfectly fine to sleep in - comfortable and big enough for all of our suitcases.
The only "complaint" I would have - the downstairs showerhead is placed at about 5 feet high. I am 5'8" and my boyfriend is 6'3" so we had a little bit of trouble with this - but otherwise a totally awesome place to stay! :)
We hope we'll be able to go back again next winter! -

Left on 02/03/2011 for a stay in January 2011
I came up here with my family and friends for a get together and it was so nice to have found this cabin. It sleeps up to 16 people and we all had a bed to sleep on and we were all comfortable. The owner of the cabin was really nice and gave us all the information we needed before getting there and getting a hold of her was easy when I needed to also. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and the backyard is just soo beautiful with lots of room to throw a BBQ. The hot tub was clean when we got there and the place was clean when we got there. Just want to say thanks again for this cabin which made our trip memorable.

San Francisco, CAModSnow Ski/Snowboard Trip
Left on 01/30/2011 for a stay in January 2011
My colleagues and I rented this cabin to celebrate my birthday and spend the weekend skiing and snowboarding at Homewood, only 20 minutes drive away. Everybody was impressed with this cabin. It was spacious, fully-equipped, comfortable, and central to many places in South Lake Tahoe. The hot tub was relaxing after our muscles were sore from snowboarding. Our property manager was easy and quick to communicate with. We will definitely contact her again when we plan another trip soon!

We had a co-ed getaway for my brother and my sister-in-law to be...we had the most amazing time here. It had everything we needed for home cooked meals and much more.
Thanks for all the help in setting up this mini-vacation away from the traffic and smog of the city! We are planning our next trip to S. Lake Tahoe...and we excited to set up camp at this cabin again. -

Left on 08/04/2010 for a stay in November 2009
My family and I loved this cabin! We went up there in November and had the pleasure of enjoying the beautiful winter snow. The cabin is wonderful and it just felt so warming and cozy as soon as you walked in. It has plenty of room if you plan going with a big party and its also perfect if you plan on going with your significant other. It's very nicely decorated and the hot tub is always very fun and relaxing. The location is perfect everything is close by and the neighborhood is great. The property manager is very easy to talk to if you had any concerns, overall I highly recommend this cabin guaranteed an awesome stay.

All 10 of us gasped when we unlocked the door to the cabin. Beautiful, clean and welcoming!
I really wanted to take my girlfriend and all our friends to Tahoe just for one night on memorial day weekend and was finding it impossible to find a cabin for one night only. Louisana agreed to rent this to me and made everything easy. We mostly stayed in the cabin on our trip, cooked delicious meals, and used the hot tub as well. Will definitely go back for another stay - this time hopefully longer. -

Left on 05/20/2010 for a stay in January 2010
My husband and I have stayed at this cabin 3 times now (always during the winter). It is spacious, homey, relaxing (scenery & hot tub contribute to this factor), and carries all amenities needed to cook a meal for the family on vaca. We have always stayed at the cabin in big numbers and no complaints: 4 bedrooms, a loft, and leather futons in the living room. Has garage parking and driveway parking. The cabin is easily accessible off the main strip road. It is a short drive to the casinos. It's a beautiful place and from my family to yours, we fully recommend this spot.

Beautiful, very well located cabin in South Lake Tahoe. You'll be on Heavenly in no more than 8 minutes. A few couples went there for new years eve and we had a fantastic time. The cabin is in excellent condition; spacious and comfortable. Living room with fireplace, tv, cable, dvd and wifi which makes it great to relax and hang out after a day at the slopes. The bedrooms are quiet and the beds are brand new. Frankly, we cannot wait to go back to Lake Tahoe and to this great retreat.

Location and arrangement were quite refined and tasteful in appearance.
My family and I had the pleasure to spend our time within this cabin during the winter months. We enjoyed days of skiing\snowboarding at the nearby local resort and nights of warmth around the cozy dinner table.
Would love to arrange another family vacation soon with this cabin as our "home away from home". Maybe a summer trip will be needed next.
