Less than a mile from the beach and casinos. Dead end street that backs to forest land, ski back from Heavenly, then enjoy relaxing in your spa, viewing the forrest around you. I can not say enough about the Tall Tree Lodge. It was perfectly clean, airy and fresh smelling which is important to me when renting a place. The owners were awesome to deal with and kind in every way.
We brought our program for women and children and we had the most memorable time going down the huge slide in the back yard. There was no need to even go to a tube park. While some where in the hot tub, others watched as the children went down the hill on tubes and saucers.
Can't say enough. We want to go back forever! -

Tall Trees lived up to it's billing. Very nice amenities, hot tub got use from all 12 of us at some point during our week. Heated steps between house and coach was great. Access to Heavenly ski lift was less than 3 minutes by car with free parking. I'd probably pack my own lunches/snacks next time as food costs on the slopes are quite high.

We stayed at the Tall Tree Lodge over Thanksgiving weekend and we had a wonderful time. We had 16 people and everyone loved it. It is a very cozy, confortable home like feeling. The owners were great from the begining of the reservation process. We would love to come back to Lake Tahoe and would definetely stay here again.

We stayed at the tall tree lodge for a weekend. The place is great, the owners were very nice. The slopes are close and town center is not too far away either. All in all a great, comfortable place to have an awesome time.

Tall Tree Lodge was just perfect for our families! There was so much to do at any time of the day! The kids enjoyed playing hide n seek, sitting around the campfire, and just hanging out at the cabin. The adults loved the privacy of each room, and there was more than enough room for us all to sleep comfortably. The hot tub was thee place for all the adults to gather while the kids explored the backyard. We loved the large showers and really enjoyed the japanese style soaking tub...so peaceful. After the long drive, we were able to enjoy the pizza and beer that was provided by Wendy and Erik(well, some of us preferred the wine!). The views are amazing, and the house was perfectly nestled in the woodsy area, yet still close to the bustling town. The Kitchen had everything we could've possibly needed, and there was enough seating for everyone. We were also pleasantly surprised to see Christmas decorations up; our family loves the holiday season and the glow of the Christmas tree was so inviting and relaxing. Already looking forward to returning! Thanks again to Wendy and Erik for being available to answer any and all questions we had.

My buddies and I chose tall tree lodge based on the beautiful pics and great reviews we saw online. When we arrived, the cabin was even better than we expected! Erik and Wendy were so accomadating and friendly! The first thing we did when we got there was heat up a pizza they left for us in the freezer! The house was absolutely clean with all the amenities. The back yard was perfect. You really feel like there is no one else around. And the guest house is great with a pool table! All this, and so close to the casinos! A great place to stay for any group!

When renting from Wendy and Erik you get more than just a vacation rental.Upon arriving you really get the feeling of being home. Immediately Wendy made me feel like I had known her my entire life.From that moment on I felt like I was staying at a friends home. I had a large dinner party and everything was surprised to learn it was indeed a rental, everyone thought I borrowed a friends home. No expense was spared to make you feel comfortable! We even marveled over the sheets-I've never seen such high quality. From the moment I first talked to Wendy she was there to answer any question I had that helped w/my wedding planning. From the heated stairs that keep the ice and snow clear, to the fireplaces in both master bedrooms, simply everything is top notch. They even leave chocolates on your bed and water on the night stands. Pizza in the freezer so you don't have to worry about dinner after what might have been a long drive and a nice bottle of wine. They honestly have thought of everything to make you comfortable. It snowed Memorial weekend. On my wedding day I was surprised by a gentlemen arriving to offer any help I needed, clearing the snow the heated stairs did not melt, rides, anything and he didn't expect a tip. If I can rent again, even if is just my husband going up I wouldn't even think about renting from someone else. I cannot thank them enough!

We were visiting Tahoe for a Family Reunion. Our family enjoyed everything about this property. It's location, spaciousness, cleanliness, games for the kids,and just plain beautiful. We sat on the patio out back relaxing and enjoying our surroundings which were very peaceful. What a jewel!

I'll keep this short, but this is an amazing cabin in an amazing location, owned by some genuinely welcoming and congenial individuals. Tall Tree Lodge is comfortable, clean, and has all the amenities you would ever need.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. The house was close to the strip and easy to find. The price was great as well. It was also very comfortable and clean, and the owner left us a few frozen pizzas in the freezer. Great spot.

The place is located near the end of Ski Run Blvd. It's close to Heavenly and stateline. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the lodge. All of the amenities were great. If you get bored with the pool table you can play Foosball, or horseshoes, go for a hike in the hills behind the property, or just hang out on one of the man porches or hammocks. We had a wonderful time and would love to make it back up during the snow season.

The Tall Tree Lodge is a gorgeous home in South Lake Tahoe. It is a perfect place to vacation with family or friends. The master bedrooms/bathrooms are beautiful and spacious. The living area, large screen television, and large dining room table are wonderful! The deck and view outside is beautiful. The place really is a great place to relax and enjoy time with family and friends!

From the first call to reserve the cabin to checking out, we had a very positive experience. The cabin was clean, spacious, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location being at the end of a quiet street was nice for our family to relax but just a 3 minute ride from the beach, casinos and stores. It was absolutely a perfect little vacation!!!

Tall Tree Lodge is a great place to spend time with friends and family. I liked the fact that there very flexable with check-in and out times, the house was clean and organized, services and beaches are very close, and the kids loved the gameroom loft above the garage and plenty of bathrooms. It is so peaceful up there at the edge of the forest with plenty of hiking and biking area right behind the lodge. I will be coming back again for skiing this winter for sure.
