Left on 02/26/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Accomadation Station was amazing to work with. The cabin is in a great location just minutes from Heavenly Gondola. We liked the layout and spaciousness of the cabin however the cabin is in need of some upgrades and fixing of some things.

Thank you for your comments. We agree with you that the Birch Cabin has some wonderful things about it but needs some attention and upgrading. The family knows this and will be making some changes this spring/summer.

Cupertino, CA, United StatesExcellent vacation spot

It was wonderful! We had a great time and plenty of space. The kitchen was very well-appointed, the snowy yard and hot young were a popular fun spot, and the nice big dining room made meals easy. Also, the location walking distance from town cannot be beat. The house was very clean, except for those handful of things that get grimy in any house -- kitchen floor corners, baseboards, etc. Finally, another small detail- the downstairs bathroom shower seems to be in need of repairs, as some tiles have come loose. Despite this, I would recommend this house for a stay! We had a very nice time and the house really was perfectly suited to our group (the full 14 people).

We loved staying at the birch cabin. It has a great location, can fit a lot of people to sleep comfortably, and most importantly a hot tub! It isn't the most modern place and it's probably time for a new couch, but besides that there's not much to complain about. I would definitely recommend it to my friends, especially for the price we payed!

Left on 02/22/2012 for a stay in February 2012
The Birch house was a great place for accommodating a group of our size. Everyone felt like they had enough space but still cozy for eating and playing games as a group. The bathrooms were a little funky but nothing to hinder the experience. I stay here again in a heartbeat especially if there was a better snowpack.

The location was perfect. Close to down town and all kinds of entertainment available should the snow suck, which it did. The hot tub was clean and warn and I had a wonderful time hanging out and playing with friends.

This cabin is great, lots of room. It fit our little group of 6 adults and 8 kids, no problem. Great area, close to everything in SLT. The furniture has seen better days, could use replacing, but all-in-all, a great, affordable, rustic cabin for a larger group.

San Francisco, CAWe loved it!
Left on 03/01/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We really enjoyed our stay at Birch Cabin. There were 10 of us and it was perfect for that size group. I don't know about filling it up to capacity at 14 as the room downstairs opens to the outside and is the way to and from the hot tub (which we made good use of) so in the winter at least it seems it would be a very cold room with all the opening and closing of the door not to mention a parade of people back and forth thru someones room. The kitchen has everything you need with all sorts of utensils and pots and pans, etc. The rooms were very comfortable and clean also. If you're looking for fancy and modern this isn't the cabin for you but if rustic is more your style then you'll like this place. The location is great, very central and Safeway is just down the road. Key pick up and drop off is easy and straightforward. Highly Recommended!

The cabin was the perfect size and location. Everything was clean, though the furniture and bathroom downstairs were very worn. The entry and driveway were extremely slippery and unsafe to walk on even with boots and salt.

Left on 04/14/2010 for a stay in April 2010
We had a very pleasant stay in this cabin, the living room and dining area are big, we had plenty of space. The bedrooms are big too, we certainly did not feel cramped! The kitchen has all the required utensils for nice cooking. Everything was in working order except for the hot tub were we couldn't get the bubble jets in. The house is very clean and well maintained, although the downstairs shower stall could use some resurfacing.
All in all, we enjoyed the weekend there, and I keep this property on my list for future visits to Heavenly -

The location was perfect and there was plenty of parking off the street. We even had a build up of snow in the parking area that the kids were able to sled down. The house is very homey and there is pretty much everything you would ever need in the kitchen.

This time around we noticed clean drapes, carpet, replaced bedding, curtains, clean couch, and additional mirrors (loft area)Maintenance: Downstairs shower seemed to be plugged. Front porch needs porchlite (when it is dark cannot see the family (as long as we can do so) will keep coming back.

Thank you for having such a wonderful house. There are some thresholds that should be fixed but that is coming from someone who works in the flooring industry. My eyes look down at what I can fix. One suggestions, we did use the high chairs but a portable crib might attract more familys to the house. Just a thought

The Birch Cabin was the best place I've ever stayed at on a ski trip. The house was spacious and had some great amenities (washer/ dryer, mud room, hot-tub, etc.). The location could not have been better as it was walking distance to almost everything we needed. Our group is seriously considering coming back to the Birch Cabin next year.

Overall, the property is in a very convenient location. Some of the furniture should be cleaned or replaced. Drapes need some cleaning. Carpets need some cleaning. Kitchen facilities are great.Everything is there.Could use a night light in the downstairs bathroom because of the step down. (we just left the light open). The upstairs bathroom could use a different toilet seat (it seemed too small. Thank you for adding the door mirror in the loft room. The place is very open and is great for a big group to enjoy each others company.
