      convenience

Left on 02/25/2013 for a stay in January 2013

The location was close to town and the main gondola. The caretakers did a great job of keeping the hot tub clean and the price was affordable in comparison to other cabins.

Great Tahoe Vacation and Very affordable

Left on 01/13/2013 for a stay in December 2012

This cabin absolutely met our needs. Thanks to Steven and Kendra for making it a terrific trip to Tahoe. My wife and I live in Sacramento and brought our family to Tahoe for the Xmas holidays. The cabin was perfect for our family of 6 and could have held more with plenty of space. The wood burning stove kept us all nice and toasty as mother nature dumped over 5 feet of snow outside. The cabin is within walking distance to the Heavenly Village and very close to multiple restaurants. Overall great stay and the caretakers were very nice and helpful.

The Cabin when we first pulled up. Winter wonderland! Our little boy with his grandfather The happy family

"Most relaxing vacation we have had in years "

Left on 07/24/2011 for a stay in May 2011

To start the day...Coffee on the deck with absolutely beautiful breath-taking views with the wonderful smell of pine trees (evergreens). We intended to enjoy the lake areas more but found ourselves completely content and pacified by listening to the birds, looking at the fireplace and enjoying the ambiance of this mountain chalet. All this and a "hot tub" to enjoy in the cool evening mountain air. Now,
      that's living!
We intended to eat out more often, however with the nearness of the grocery stores and the convenience of the kitchen, we found ourselves staying in and enjoying the "joy of cooking" together. Whatever we needed, Steve was right there. He was so helpful that we left feeling like family. Now that's a vacation we will remember!

A million miles away and still in the center of everything

Left on 07/22/2011 for a stay in July 2011

From the moment we arrived the tranquility of the area started penetrating right on down to the bone. It was so quiet and peaceful it was like being a million miles away from everywhere and yet dining shopping and grocery stores were literally just minutes away. Morning coffee on the second floor sun-drenched deck was a joy to look forward to each morning. Did I mention evenings in the hot tub also on the deck?

We didn't cook much but did have friends over to BBQ (nice BBQ too by the way) a couple of times. I have never seen a more fully stocked kitchen with every utensil imaginable in numbers that would accommodate an army.

The on-site caretakers were always friendly and helpful, but you hardly knew they were there because they were so quiet and nonintrusive.

All in all it was a great place to stay. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

      Great place!!!

Left on 07/07/2011 for a stay in January 2011

I came up with a group of friends for a weekend in Tahoe. The place was very spacious and we all got our own bed. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the location was great for going into the town or skiing. We found instructions on the kitchen counter for everything we needed. On the last day, it started snowing and one of the cars was stuck. Steve helped us get the cars ready to get on the road! Our favorite part was hanging out in the hottub on the deck at night. I would most definitely stay there again and recommend this place. It was a wonderful weekend!

Great cabin to stay in..made our Tahoe trip memorable !

Left on 07/07/2011 for a stay in June 2011

We were a party of 10 bike riders doing the Tahoe century ride in June 2011. The accomodations at the cabin were great. The loft area was spacious and we all had a place to sleep (with extra air mattresses). Although there was one bathroom, we made it work w/o any problems and we never ran out of hot water for the showers. It was nice to have the spacious deck and hot tub access. The kitchen/family room area was open concept which was really nice for a party of 10 to eat/relax in. The kitchen was also very nicely stocked with anything you would need for cooking. The location of the cabin was nice as well bc it was walking distance to the main street for shopping, eating, etc but still nestled in a quiet area. We were able to bike to our start location of the century without any issues or needing a car. Steve was very accomodating thru-out our stay esp. once he gave us the correct key-code # to get into the cabin ;). We would definitely stay at the cabin again !!!
