JUST A SHORT WALK TO LAKE TAHOE... This cute condo sits in a great area of the Tahoe Keys Marina complex, located just steps from the indoor pool area and hot tub area. This light bright condo offers comfortable furnishings, great views and a short walk to the beach.

      Beautiful and Clean Home!

Left on 01/13/2012 for a stay in December 2011

We loved this place!! It was big enough for our family of 4 (2 adults/2kids). It was also very clean. The view is spectacular. The only drawback was the heating system - upstairs got really hot and downstairs remained cool. Having access to the community pool was an added bonus for my kids. We will most likely stay here again. Highly recommeded!

      Could be better

Left on 12/22/2011 for a stay in December 2011

Initial impression was ok. Owner made the place nice. However there are a few drawbacks that shall be quite easy to fix:
      1. The email confirmation did not tell us we shall pick up keys at rental office (we arrived very late and have to drive back to get the key)
      2. The heater was extremely loud and almost impossilbe to sleep at night. To make it worse, it broke the first night and we were freeze to ice next morning.
      3. All windows are not double pane, I saw more than half of neigbor upgraded. The upstair master bedroom's window actually leaks wind - so it is impossible to sleep there at night.
      4. We have to buy fire log nearby - thought a rental house would provide it already.

      1. The check in instructions are clearly stated on page one paragraph one of the confirmation paperwork.
      2. The heater was repaired as soon as we got the complaint from the tenant. The heater noise was resolved when the heater was repaired.
      3. The forced air central heating system is capable of heating the entire house up to 80 degrees if needed.
      4. Firewood is not provided in any of our rental homes. It can be purchased at any of the local grocery stores.

      The condo was great

Left on 05/19/2011 for a stay in April 2011

We had the best time..the accomodations were better than expected but someone forgot to tell us the pool and hot tub we were so looking forward to were closed for annual maintenence..you would think since it's an "annual"occurance someone would have let us know beforehand..we may have chosen a different date to travel..but the condo itself was wonderfully clean and well equipped..I was thrilled with the entire experience and would like to do it again...only with a pool and hot tub!

Wished I owned it. This place is awesome!! only a few steps from its own boat dock situated on a marina setting the condo was clean, and modern. The staff at CB McKinney could not have been any better. Awesome service as we were moved here from our first rental and this one was a big upgrade from what we paid for. We are already planning our next stay at the same condo. Great Job- Great People

Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Left on 08/26/2010 for a stay in August 2010

This condo was perfect! We had two couples, two teenagers, and a single adult and we all fit very comfortably in this home. The condo was clean and very well kept. Plenty of towels and toiletries provided, it felt like we were staying at a hotel but without the constant room service knocking at the door. Appliances are older and the place is a bit outdated, but considering the value and money we saved it really was no big deal. Kitchen utensils were provided, but I would suggest brining your own knives and maybe a few pots and pans if you plan on cooking. We had a fairly large group so it was difficult to conduct a large meal service with what was there. Having our own boat dock was very convenient. The customer service at CWB was awesome. Truly made our trip to Tahoe a very memorable one. We will definitely be renting this place out again!

This unit has a great location. The unit could use a makeover, but provided all the necessary amenities for our family.

Excellent location, clean and roomy, a few draw backs....

Left on 08/02/2010 for a stay in July 2010

We stayed for a week from July 25th to July 31st. We had a wonderful time. We give the condo an overall 4 stars out of 5. Here’s our honest assessment of the property:

      Positives:
-Plenty of dishes and everything in the kitchen one would need (except kitchen tongs). Spices, pots, pans, just about everything you could think of. This is not usually the case and we had packed much of our own and never needed it.
-Place was clean and ready when we got there. Furniture is comfortable.
-Private boat dock is perfect for those with a boat, with the exception of the marina issues (listed below).
-Master bedroom is excellent...plenty of room.
-Nice grassy yard off the back porch.
-Great TV setup downstairs but could use more channels.
-Office staff was very helpful and friendly.
      -Location of course...can't beat it.

      Negatives:
-No A/C, so it can get pretty warm at night. There are two fans, but it needs two more...one for the bedroom downstairs and one for the living room area.
-The refrigerator is way, way past its prime. Took forever to get things cold and is much too small for a place that sleeps 8. We ended up keeping water and beer in a cooler with ice due to the space issues.
-Showers changes temperature from hot to cold numerous times without warning--just prepare for it. And that 60's accordion-style shower door upstairs? Again, way past it's time and won't stay closed.
-The Marina...UGH! Not the fault of the condo, but the marina is a joke. Bringing a boat? Inspection=$90, launch=$35, Trailer parking=$5 per day + 20 "handling fee". Basically bring $175 to have your boat there for a week. Fishing? $20 for a 2-day and $40 for a 4-day. We caught Kokanee at about 60’ deep over by Emerald Bay using a Ford Fender and pink squid with yellow fire corn.

We all had a great time. The location is the key to this property. The grass yard was perfect for out 2 year old granddaughter. We caught fish 40 feet from the back door. There was plenty of shade from the beautiful trees. We were close to the marina and took advantage of the boat rental discount as well as the private dock. There was plenty of parking (ours was just steps from the front door).

Great location, plenty of room, great stay!!

Left on 06/30/2010 for a stay in June 2010

We had 3 adults, 2 teens and a three year old and there was plenty of room in the condo. The beds and furnishing were comfortable. We found this location to be cental to which ever direction you wanted to go and it was residential as opposed to tourist dominated. The only problem was that the refrigerated froze everything on the top shelf.
