This home was just as beautiful as the picture showed it. Everything was working perfectly, the house was clean, a bit outdated but nothing major. This is a great place for families to stay and be together. It was too expensive and check out is way too early for the price that we paid.

The property is nice and the location is desirable. The furniture (mattresses in all bedrooms, and the sofa in the downstairs living room as well as upstairs near the bar) are very old and needs to be replaced. They are old and uncomfortable.

Great place overall! Beds were a little on the hard side for me personally, but still very nice. Loved the jacuzzi tub and sauna. Also really enjoyed coffee on the patio, looking at the water and mountains.

Check in and checkout was easy. However, being responsible for taking out the trash was something that I didnt like since we had to pay $100+ for cleaning service. We also found trash left by the previous renters behind the bar counter upstairs which we had to clean up.
I also recommend for Tahoe Key Resort to establish a contract with Heavenly Ski Resort in order t o provide shuttle transportation to the ski lifts for visitors in the Key Resorts. This would make things more convenient for people staying at Tahoe Key Resorts and would allow the resort to better compete with other local resorts that have this service.
We plan to visit South Lake Tahoe once again next year and take advantage of the 20% discount offered by Tahoe Key Resort for returning clients.
