"Pine Hill Chalet" is located in Tahoe Tyrol, which is a lovely private community of Tyrolean style Chalets on the beautiful South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Located on 40 wooded acres forested hillside, at an elevation of 6,250 feet. Tahoe Tyrol just 0.4 mile from the base lodge of Heavenly Ski Resort and just 1.5 mile from the Stateline casino area. The Tyrol neighborhood is conveniently located in close proximity to all South Shore attractions. Only 2.5 hours from Sacramento; 1 hour from the Reno Airport.

Two bedrooms downstairs and living room and kitchen up stairs. 3 beds plus a sofa bed. Really comfortable and its a lot nicer than the pictures.
The back of the cabin has a nice little hill to slide down and if you go towards the top of the hill you can see the lake if there's good visibility.
Heavenly village is 3 minutes away. 5mins from casinos

Instructions on getting in and finding the place were well explained. The house is nice and close to all the action. Probably 1/2 mile to skiing and 1 mile to the casinos and grocery store. The wood burning fireplace was a requirement of ours and it worked beautifully. Bring your own wood. The heating in the unit was supurb we were always comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of appliances,utinsils and dishware. There were plenty of windows so there was lots of light and visibility so you didn't feel closed in. The unit is 4 flights with a garage on the bottom floor with an entry into the house which was most convenient. There is a landing to keep all your skiing equipment and jackets etc. upon entering through the garage. The TV and DVD player worked beautifully. If you play board games or cards bring your own they are not provided. The beds were all comfortable. Everyone had plenty of closet space . Hair dryers were in both bathroooms. When we did have a problem we were able to contact Buckingham who responded immediately.

The place was just as great as it seemed in its online description and pictures. It was spacious and comfortable with a homey feel, and not a rental/used feel. It was clean, furnished, and decorated and made us feel right at home. The first day we had a problem with our refrigerator, but the maintenance people came over right away and replaced the whole fridge for us, and were very nice. There were decks surrounding the house with great views. I would definitely stay at these properties again, and the rest of our group agrees!
