Great house, clean and located close to casinos and beaches. Loved the deck and view. Kitchen is small. The house has lots of stairs, so if you, (like me), have problems with walking up and down stairs, this is not the place for you.

Cb - Mckinney & Associates were very helpful to me in reserving this rental and had all the paperwork and extra location info in a handy packet when I picked up the keys.
The home was great for a family. We have two teens and they enjoyed having their own space in the loft, and we enjoyed having the lower level to ourselves. The space was just the right size and clean (carpets were in excellent condition). Beds were comfortable. We didn't do any dinner meals, but there was plenty of equipment there to cook. We did breakfasts and packed lunches to go, so the kitchen/dinning size was just right for a family of four.
The location was convenient to everything in South Lake Tahoe and didn't take long to get to. It is located on a one way street. Took us a while to find our way in and out of the neighborhood, but good to have some sort of GPS.
I would recommend this home to families or groups with a size of 4-5 people for a comfortable fit. They would need to be able to take the stairs as it is a split level plus loft via a spiral staircase. There are houses on each end, but it is fairly private, especially looking out over the deck. Peek-a-boo view of the lake and sunset from the deck.
Thanks to the owners for sharing their space. It was very well enjoyed!
Lake Tahoe cabin was a great experience!

The cabin was beautiful, perfectly located right across the street from the ski lift and only 2 miles from the heart of South Lake Tahoe. The cabin itself was spacious, having a two car garage and enough room and beds to sleep 9+ people comfortably. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Tahoe, especially for the winter crowd wanting to ski/snow board!

This was our third trip to lake tahoe as usual the skiing was great. The house was perfect and accomadating and close to the mountain only five minutes away. The price and location can't be beat. Aside from the coffee maker not working and the futon bed get rid of it and replace it with another single bed everything else was perfect. Kudos to Cb-mckinney and assoc. you manage your properties well.

We spent 6 days in South Lake Tahoe skiing at Heavenly. This home has a great location, just down the road from the Ca ski lodge. We travelled with 2 kids and my niece in her 20's. We had our own room, my niece had her own room and the kids slept in the loft (2 singles and a futon). It was a perfect set-up for us. The home was neat, clean and even had shampoo, conditioner, laundrey detergent when we arrived. It is an older home, but everything worked well. (although DVD remore needs new batteries)
The home is set amongst woods and is a beautiful location. We saw coyotes in the mornings through the back window.
We would definately return.

The house was great! It had a beautiful view and patio. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. There was lots of snow and chains were required to get to it. Chains were not required any where else in tahoe. Cb and McKinney did not inform us of this so it was difficult to get to the house the first time. Once we were there everything was great! There was plenty of space outside for sledding plus the house had sleds there ready. The house had everything we needed towels, toilet paper, dish soap, shampoo and even razors. We greatly enjoyed are stay. The decorations were outdated but other than that we had a great time and got to use our chains! I would recommend it to people with or without family

The cabin was very comfortable and close to everything (down the street from Heavenly and the casino nighlife). Through the trees you could see the lake. Nice neighborhood. I would return again.

The overall service from CB-Mckinney was good. Instructions for picking up of the key and directions to property were straight forward. The property itself was in need to redecoration and there were some minor maintanance issues e.g. light bulbs but all the major appliances, although old, were functional and in working order.
great place but count your keys

The place was great but the service was not! I called 3 times to report that I had only been given one key and should not have been charged the $25 dollars. I talked to a woman once who said she would call me back but never did and I left 2 messages. No one would even talk to me about the issue. I finally decided my time was worth more than the refund and gave up!
