We loved our stay here at 1566 Miztec!!! Everyone in our family was comfortable and the place has a real at home feel!! The only thing I did not like was the light that came in through the windows in the bedroom that did not have a blind cover it hits ya right in the face but I wasn't there to sleep in anyways!! This house has everything you need but Wifi which is good if you just want some one on one time with those you love!! We stayed during the summer and loved waking up and going out on the deck to watch all the trees blow in the wind the views of the forest are awesome!! Everyone slept well and noone felt crowded great house if you have a bigger family! We really felt at home here!!

It was wonderful. The house was gorgeous and the amenities are awesome. From the jacuzzi tub and glass shower in the master bathroom to the huge open living room and kitchen. We had enough room to sleep 12 of our friends and family members and the house never seemed crowded. It was beautiful and in a beautiful, quiet area. It's only about five miles to shopping and restaurants and not much further to the lake.

This cabin was perfect. We had four couples who stayed there for the weekend. There was plenty of room and nobody had any complaints. anything we needed was there. The rental agency made the process very easy and let us check in early. I would highly recommend this cabin and agency. We had an epic weekend.

This home is beautiful... you can tell it's newly build and it's very clean and spacious. The upper floor was much larger than the lower floor but it worked out well for our family. The upper floor had high vaulted ceiling and very open space in the kitchen area and the master bedroom was so big that you can have at least 6 additional people sleep on the floor! My one year old had a great time exploring around these spacious rooms:) This rental home was only about 10 mins away from the tahoe lake and casinos and the neighborhood was very quiet and clean. My family had a great time and part of their positive experience was from staying at this gorgeous home! We'll definitely stay here again!

This was a beautiful house! It's new and very tastefully designed. You can tell the owners were very particular and have good taste. The house was very comfortable and in a nice quiet street. The only issues I have with the house is it is far from town and the walls are very thin. All the noise from upstairs is magnified 5X to the bedrooms downstairs. My son was playing upstairs and dropped a small wooden block on the floor. The people sleeping downstairs described it as a really loud booming noise. I'm not sure what it is but it's probably the wooden floors and just the way the house was structured. So if you're sensitive to noise, I don't think it's the right place for you. If not, this place is great.

This is the first time I've ever rented a vacation home in South Lake. The online online process was easy. The staff was friendly and had everything ready for me when I arrived in Tahoe. This house was beautiful and worked really well for my large group of family (8 adults and 4 kids). There was plenty of space for everyone and the bunk beds were perfect for the kids! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need and the pantry was huge! The only issue were the stairs as my mother had recent surgery and it was difficult with stairs in every part of the house (literally, to get in the house, living room, downstairs bedrooms, and even the garage!!) So, if you have elderly people that are not able to take a lot of stairs, this may not be the house for you. It worked out ok though. We brought a pack of toilet paper, but didn't need it as all the bathrooms were stocked with one or two extra rolls. Also, I thought there would be a hot tub, but there isn't. It was just a jet tub in the master bath. The BBQ was charcoal, so don't forget to bring that. Short drive to the casino, lake, and stores (Raleys). Overall, my family and I really enjoyed this house!

We loved the house, it was easy to find, very clean, quiet neighborhood. It was a little far from town if you're spending a lot of time there and far from lake but neither were the reason for our visit so it was perfect!

The cabin was beautiful - great open floor plan, spacious. Located off Pioneer trail, close to the store and casinos. The neighbors were friendly and the snow was perfect. No need to travel for the kids to play. Plently of linens and towels. The living room cozy with the fireplace - downfall, not WiFi connection/internet. i would recommend and visit again.

We had early check in which was nice, the staff was fast and efficent w/ getting us the keys and sending us on our way. They gave us lots of brochures for activities around south lake tahoe. The house is beautiful, very open, lots of light. We had a few issues, cigarette butts were found around the outside of the property along w/ a dirty diaper, there were a few lights that didn't work and our last day the upstairs tv broke, luckily we still had the downstairs one. The upstairs is very open, big high vaulted ceiling, beautiful bay windows, however be aware there are no blinds or curtains in the upstairs living room, which may be good or bad depending if you like the sun shinning in. The master bedroom is huge and beauitful, the only down side is that the walls are very thin so you can pretty much hear everything that's going on in the main living room. My in laws stayed in the downstairs room and said the walls were also thin and they could hear the shower turning on and the garage door opening. The backyard is also very big, the kids had a blast playing in the snow. The kitchen has your very basic needs, a few pots and pans, if there is a big group and you plan on doing family dinners I recommened bringing bigger pots and pans. We made a big breakfast one morning and had a small frying pan for bacon and eggs. All in all the house is beautiful but there were some minor problems, mainly cleaning but other than that the place is perfect.

Office says that theyre open til 6pm. I arrived at 530pm and the office was closed. i think there should be a better way to check in after hours. Leaving the envelope with the keys, address and map/directions to the rental property in the box can easily be taken. Location of the office was far from the rental property.

What a wonder place to be! Thanksgiving in a beautiful large home with the snow. This home was perfect for my family. The upstairs was so nice for the adults and the downstair's the children played and watched the Dvd's. We are going to plan another trip next year at this home.
We had so much snow. The kids played in the fenced backyard. We had so much room. It was furneshed so well everything was almost new. Lots of silvewere and dishes, pots and pans well supplied with household needs.
It is what we expected and more! I felt the people we rented the home from were so nice and friendly, willing to help with whatever we needed. -

Initially, the house was not clean when my family arrived and we had to wait for housecleaning to come, that put a bad taste in my mouth considering all the forms you complete just to rent the place. However, the house was really nice, downstair rooms were a little tight and close to each other, and the kids were able to play video games on the tv downstairs, but upstairs made up for it. The couch was comfy and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook your meals, but make sure you bring your own papertowels and towels to clean up with. The dining room table was huge and two differnt board games could be played at the same time. The master bedroom and bathroom is huge. The kids enjoyed playing on the balcony with the snow and the large windows gave great sunlight in the day and it was nice to watch to snow come down that night. The house was easy to get to and close to everything we wanted to do. I would recommend the house for a nice weekend stay

This house was perfect for my group of friends. The master bedroom was huge! The only thing about it was that there was no door to the bathroom, so if someone needed to shower or take a bath, you would have to close the main bedroom door for privacy.
We loved how the kitchen and main living room was connected. It was very roomy and open. I wish the kitchen had more kitchen utensils such as servings spoons for big dishes.
The downstairs family room was nice and comfy! The bedrooms were well prepared. Thanks for the extra towels!! Overall, great home for a large group of friend or family. -

It was almost perfect, for the most part the stay was quiet and comfortable. we all enjoyed the home except for one thing: the heater was too high on the bottom floor. but if we had it to a comfortable setting on the bottom floors the top floor was to cold. but other than that is was great.

We really liked this home! The location is great and the area is very quiet but only a few minutes from the highway. Everything is updated and the kitchen opens to the main living space. There's also a living space downstairs. The master bedroom is very large (almost a waste of space) and the 3 bedrooms downstairs share a bathroom. (Not the best floorplan if you have more than one family with kids).
A few things to note...the front entry where the stairs meet the driveway gets pretty icy. A few of us slipped there. Also, the sectional couch in the main room comes apart, so be careful not to sit in a gap. Also, we could not figure out how to turn the fireplace on/off until the last day of our stay. There is no access to the backyard from inside the house, so to get there, you have to walk a very VERY narrow path while hugging the side of the house.
I know this sounds like a lot of negatives, but there's so many positives (spacious, new open kitchen, flat screen tv's, hardwood floors, garage) that we would definitely stay there again.
