This rental is as advertised. It has a wonderful feel, quite comfortable with plenty of room for sleeping. Being pet friendly is a major plus.
Upstairs has a view to behold with a King size bed. Attached is an off room with two singles, perfect for children. Just watch out for that stairwell. It is narrow and steep.
Downstairs bedroom would classify as master with attached bathroom. Gas fireplace in family/living room applies ample heat throughout. Cable TV with HBO was a bonus, though a bit light on sport channels. The other bathroom, a downstairs add-on, has a bit of tilt to it with settling foundation. No biggie, but upon entry/exit there is a about a 2 in. lip to be conscious of, so watch those toes.
Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. For those new to Tahoe, pay heed to the trees and the pine cones that may fall from them. Beach access is as simple as walking a few hundred feet. Casino's are right around the corner.
Fencing at the home, front side, is only about three feet high, so leaving dogs in the backyard while away is probably not an option. It is all sand, however, which is perfect.
Our stay was during the 'low season'. By viewing the provided photos you see a boathouse behind the backyard fence with lots of docks to hold the 20 or so rental boats available. Summertime would be perfect if you're a water junky, and not at all private if you're not. This would only be an issue during rental hours.
We were lucky enough to meet one of the owners, a delightful lady. It was reassuring to learn this residence is owned by good people and cared for as such. It was a great stay.

What an awesome lake front vacation rental!! Went here to celebrate my wife's birthday along with a couple of friends. The lakeshore house is located in a nicely secluded non-through street and backs up to the lakeshore marina and adjacent private beach. There's tons of parking space in the front. The house itself is listed to sleep 8 I believe, but in all honesty 4 people was a pretty "cozy" fit. The property was prepared for us ahead of time so when we arrived, the fireplace was going, the lighting was on and the backyard hot tub* was ready to go! By far, the best part of this property is location location location! Backyard view of lake from the observation deck was a highlight. It is also walking distance to the stateline, shopping, all of the casinos and groceries. Highly recommend this rental for a wonderful South Lake Tahoe experience!
Pros:
- the view = Amazing lake and surrounding mountain views. Heavenly Mountain views on the front side of the house
- Very quiet, secluded location
- Walking distance to shopping at the Marriott Timberlodge, stateline & casinos, Starbucks, Raleys,
- Access to djacent private beach
- Hot Tub! (*extra $$ on top of booking)
- Comfortable bedding and supplied linens and bath towels
- Cozy tahoe-cabin aesthetics and management makes the booking process easy (I dealt directly with the owner, Travis, he was great!)
cons:
Not much here other than any more than 4-5 people and it may get a little crowded inside (especially in the kitchen area--its a tight fit).
Please keep in mind this review is based on a Low-Season booking, price wise, which was very fair and comparable to the pricing of staying at similar hotel locations. We are hoping to visit again during Snow Season!!! Thanks again!!! -

We had a great time during our stay. The cabin was nicely decorated, convenient, and clean. Thank you so much to the owners for renting to us. The only negative was the marina building that blocked the back yard view.
