We wanted a rental that would be close to family while also being large enough to entertain. This home met all of our needs and more. Being from Hawaii we are not used to the cold. The master bathroom had heated floors which made those trips to the bathroom enjoyable. The house was well equiped and charming. Everything was clean and comfortable. During our stay the pilot light went out. I called the management office and in less than 15 minutes a heater repairman was at the house. He was great and actually checked all of the smoke alarms and radin detector. That kind of service is rare. Ali in the management office called to check in to make sure our needs were met. I honestly believed that she cared about our happiness and while the call may have been part of her job she was caring and responsive to an issue unrelated to the rental and was willing to help us resolve this issue well outside the scope if her duties. I would hire her in a heartbeat! Great customer service. We are returning next month and hope to stay in the same rental.

We rolled into town at about 5:00 PM, stopped by the office to pickup the keys (no waiting) and quickly made ourselves comfortable. There was plenty of room for six adults, three recently-remodeled bathrooms and a nice TV plus super-fast WiFi. This was a lot of condo for the money. We will be coming back.

This is a quaint cabin in a quiet residential neighborhood of S. Lake Tahoe. Although the kitchen is dated, it is clean and functional. Also, there is a Keurig K-cup coffee maker there that is not mentioned in the review! We were able to get some K-cups locally and make coffee with the wonderful Lake Tahoe Tap water.
The house has three full bathrooms to match the three bedrooms and it is obvious that all three bathrooms have been recently remodeled! Very nice!
There is a large-screen TV in the living room and very fast WiFi to connect to!

It was great to be able to have the whole family under one roof for the weekend and much cheaper than four motel rooms. There were a few annoyances, though. When I checked in at the office, my license was not returned to me, after being copied by the clerk. Fortunately I didn't have any clubbing

The cabin was roomy and in a very convenient location for us, however it was sorely in need of basic maintenance. When we arrived the kitchen/living room area reeked of cat urine. The odor was overwhelming and unfortunately strongest when sitting at the dining table. It was impossible to sit there for any reason let alone to eat. We notified the real estate and they immediately sent over housekeeping staff to clean the carpet. It helped a little for that day but it was still too smelly to spend time at the table. Also the living room light fixture was broken so we had to tie a weight to the string to keep the light on. The water heater shut off repeatedly during showers and needed to be reset at least once a day. It would be a cute place to stay if it were kept up.
Staying in a home was much more relaxing and enjoyable.

We enjoyed the location. It was pleasant and quiet. The home is rustic, but comfortable. We were able to barbecue quite a few meals. Our daughter and grand kids have a small (10 lb.) dog and we were able to keep her with us in the home. Last year, we had to kennel her in South Lake Tahoe because we were in timeshares. It was inconvenient to take her out of the kennel each day for several hours and then take her back. We are looking forward to our two week vacation next year in another home with an enclosed yard, hot tub, and barbecue.

One concern - was a bit pricey for the place in comparison with other available places. There were 2 families with 8 people sharing this home - one couple & their 10 year old son, another couple with a 10 year old son, 18 year old daughter & her 18 year old girl friend.
Plenty of heat provided by the 2 wall heaters. Many space heaters were avail as needed. One concern - wall outlets in the 2 main bedrooms seemed shaky & caused sparks. Should be replaced to hold high voltage space heaters.
Driveway could've been plowed wider. Problem in fitting 2 cars - couldn't get out one side of the car w/o stepping in deep snow. The CB office had the plow sent out when we called about it.
Beds were comfortable, except for loft bed, which had a dip in the middle. Lots of extra sheets, blankets & pillows were available.
One problem was the living room couch could only hold 3 people. The rest of the seating was uncomfortable table chairs. There really should be more comfortable seating in the living room since that's where you spend the most time.
Great laundry & laundry soap was provided. Lots of unexpected surprises: liquid soap at every sink; shampoo, conditioner & body wash in each shower; dishwasher soap, dishsoap, sponges, paper towels & garbage bags in the kitchen.
Listing had 2.25 bathrooms - should be described better in the webpage. There are 3 bathrooms & 2 have showers. On the main floor, there is a hallway bathroom across from the bunk bed room that has a tub/shower. There is a master bedroom on the main floor, where there's an ensuite bathroom with shower. Unfortunately, in the upstairs where there is a bedroom & loft, the bathroom just has a toilet/sink, no shower.
Location was ideal for us -- we took the kids skiing/snowboarding at Sierra at Tahoe, which was about 30-60mins away (depends on weather). We were very close to the Y store. Short drive to casinos-~5 miles. We're looking forward to hopefully coming back this summer.
Wonderful vacation home, large enough for the kids and grand-kids

This vacation home was a great idea for me and my family. The beds were very comfortable except the lower bunk bed. The house was very clean and the commendations were easy. It was only 10 min. to were the wedding and reception was being held and the traffic was not bad at all for a weekend. There were stores close by which was really nice. I made the wedding flowers and it was especially nice to have the usage of the garage for the ice chests full of flowers. Thank you for an easy going place to stay.
