This house was easy to find, relatively close to south lake tahoe, and very comfortable. We didn't use the hot tub because of poor bathing suit planning.
Internet was a big plus, mainly because we had a personal event that we wanted to watch that was only available over the internet. -

Went for MLK weekend to celebrate my 25th birthday. Four of us were able to fit comfortably In this cozy cabin. The Hot tub was a great place to relax and take in the stars after each day. We definitely took advantage of the sledding hill in back of the house and made out own little slope on this side. Definitely a memorable time that wouldn't have been the same without this great find. I'm making it a point to come back to this location, maybe for the summer this time..

Very nice place, had a wonderful time. A very charming house in the middle of the snow. We enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot. Be aware that it is a bit far from the city ($35 taxi to go to town if you don't have a car, double to go to heavenly)

Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our three days at this romantic cabin. It was a perfect size for us. The cabin had more then we expected. It even provided entertainment such as movies, cds, board games, etc. We wanted to have a little bar-b-q and there was charcoal and liter fluid provided already. It was a great experience. The jacuzzi was a great plus. I recommend this cabin to any couple trying to get away for a romantic weekend alone or any couple with one or two kids. The cabin is equiped with everything needed and makes you feel as if you are in your own home. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.

This place is perfect for a romantic getaway or a nice weekend with another couple. It's just far enough away from town to feel like you're out in the woods, but close enough to for all the conveniences and activities you like to enjoy. The hot tub is great, the fireplace is so warm and cozy, and it's so comfy that you basically never want to leave!
Relaxing on the porch and listening to the wind through the trees while enjoying a good book was one of the highlights... -

The house was wonderful. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The hot tub was very nice and the loft bed was very comfortable. It was also very convenient to So. Lake Tahoe.
I don't know that I would use your services again. The final cost with taxes and cleaning fees is way excessive. Sign up for $115 a night and price doubles with fees. -

Healdsburg, CANice little cabin
Left on 05/07/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Cabin was very quaint and nice and quiet. Great little house, with a nice large yard with lots of room for sledding. I would reccommend this house to others.
Unfortunately the hot tub was in really bad shape so we could not use it. The 'pool cleaner' showed up as we were leaving so it will hopefully be better for the next guest.

The cabin is awesome from inside to outside. It was way better than we expected. We fell in love with the place. It is clean and comfortable. We got snowed in for 4 days, but we got everything we need. It was a real relaxation for us outside of the city life. We would love to go back to this cabin.

Great woodsy setting even in a residential area. Cabin was clean and comfortable. Had all the amenities we expected.Had to drive for most everything, but it's a nice bike ride to and from town. The fireworks were an unexpected treat. While the hottub was clean and comfortable for a family of 4, we had some difficulty getting it to stay hot enough. Maintenance dept. came right out to reset it, but continued to have trouble. A user manual might be a good idea for future guests. Thanks much for a great stay.

At first when i was driving out to the place ,i saw all these sticks that used to be trees ,i thought what did i get myself into thing it was going to be a house on a burned lot ,but it wasnt affected by fire and really was a nice place ! Sure you have to past driving through some burned out areas, but you enjoy this place ,nice and cozy , quiet what you need after spending all day at the lake !

The CB rental staff was so helpful when I called for directions and so nice when we picked up the keys. The house was beautiful, warm, cozy, and quiet. We enjoyed the kitchen - we cooked every meal there and it had all the equipment we needed. The hot tub was fun; the piano in the house was also a nice bonus. The location was also nice - just 10 minutes from the lake. We are planning to come back again in the summer and will certainly rent the same house again!

We came for a long weekend at 916 Kiowa rd. expecting what the pictures on the website told us. After picking up a nice packet and the keys we arrived at our cabin.
The cabin is nicely situated in a pretty street with a snowy white atmosphere. The cabin itself was beautiful with 2 bedrooms, the upper one allows you to wake up to a wonderful view of snowy woods.
The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and most kitchen ware you can think of and also had a nice assortment of spices.
The Hot tub was enjoyable, our only concern was that 1 side had a view to the neighbors and we were hoping that side will be obscured as well.
We didn't light up the fire place (bring your own firewood) but it looks in working order.
There are quite a few games and books in the cabin which can allow for fun stranded times.
We highly recommend the cabin for a couple or two or a couple with kids.
P.S. The GPS had a hard time pinpointing the place so just look for the 916 sign when you get to the road. -

The location was great. We were close to all of the action but away from traffic so we could enjoy our anniversary together. The hot tub was great and the trees surrounding the back patio were nice in the mornings with a cup of coffee. The living area was cozy and we enjoyed cooking our own dinner and breakfasts. Mountain bike trails were super close in that you could ride your bike from the house and be on them in minutes. Service was excellent and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend staying here!

Left on 09/24/2009 for a stay in March 2008
My 2 children and I loved the look, feel and smell of this place. Hot tub and fireplace after a great day of skiing at nearby Sierra was all that we could have asked for on a Spring Break trip. The neighborhood is quiet. Structure and decorations reminded me of childhood trips to winter cabins back in the 1970's. Perfect place for 3-4 people wanting a cozy retreat.

Philo, CAA Great Little Place
Left on 09/24/2009 for a stay in February 2007
My husband and I stayed at this cute little cabin and loved our time there. It is a bit rustic but all the better. We didn't use the hot tub but it looked like it worked. We slept in the upstairs loft rather than the downstairs bedroom. We could hear the coyotes at night and slept well. The view out the great window was beautiful and very peaceful. The kitchen is small, no dishwasher but it had everything we needed. Our son, who was living up there for the winter, came over for dinner a few evenings; we played Scrabble and turned on the CD player and listened to music. An idylic stay and one that we would love to repeat.
