Newcastle, AustraliaFantastic snow holiday in a home away from home!!
Left on 04/13/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Well what can I say. From the moment I made an enquiry from Maurice it was great service with easy booking and followed by fantastic customer service. The home has everything you need for your holiday with ample space and a kitchen with all that you would need and more.
As others have stated the location is right across the road from the Heavenly tram and a chair so you can ski home at the end of the day if you still have the stamina or you can catch the lift down. It snowed our first night and a couple of days midweek and Maurice had even arranged to have the driveway cleared of snow. The boot dryer/warmer in the garage is also "Heavenly". I would highly recommend staying here and town is only a 10 minute drive away for all your needs such as groceries or a night at the casinos. Well done Maurice.

San JoseWhat a nice experience!
Left on 03/07/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Let me start by saying you can't beat the location! It is walking distance to the lifts and the ski school. The cabin is clean, organized and well equipped. The German Pub just next door is a plus. The best part is we didn't have to drive the entire week apart for food shopping one time. The booking process was easy and fair and the whole experience was very nice. We had a great time and we will come back next year! Maurice, thank you for everything!

Austin TexasWonderful family vacation at Heavenly Ski Home
Left on 01/10/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Our stay over Christmas was wonderful. The owners kindly ordered a couple feet of new snow to make the occasion perfect. The home was beautiful and included all the amenities necessary for the entire family to have a relaxing vacation (including having the driveway snow removed daily). The location across the street from Heavenly Valley Ski resort was incredibly convenient as was the wonderful little German Pub walking distance away. With restaurants, the grocery store, and the lake being only minutes away made this location perfect.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house! The owners were very nice and well organized with the information they provided, and were very responsive to questions. The house was very well stocked with supplies, and is in a great location, right next to the Heavenly tram. We loved being able to come and go from Heavenly with ease, and we also loved being able to hang out with our friends in the common living area after a day of skiing! This house was a very comfortable place to stay, and we look forward to staying there again!

This was the perfect house for our winter ski vacation. The house is directly across the street from the Heavenly lifts. We also used the shuttle service in the parking lot to travel to the Gondola ski area and the casinos. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. All linens, towels and toiletries were provided. We had a dream vacation!

Bay Area, CAA home away from home.

I had always been to Tahoe in the winter; this was my first visit in the summer. What fun we had! We came here for a relaxing summer Tahoe vacation with extended family members totaling six - three under the age of 12 and this home was all and more than we had expected. We instantly felt at ease within the first moments of our arrival lounging in the living room looking out at the beautiful view of the mountainside. (It's wonderful even without the snow!) The kids were instantly drawn to the shelf stocked with board games. My sister was amazed at how luxurious the bedding was and my mom and I at the completely stocked kitchen. There was ample space, well furnished and decorated, for all of us to spread out and fully enjoy our time. The house is close to the lake where we spent a lot of time; I could get to the grocery store in what felt like 5 minutes but I felt no "hustle and bustle" once we got back to the house. There was no amenity lacking and we will be back for sure for another summer or winter vacation.

San Diego, CaliforniaThe perfect ski vacation home
Left on 04/06/2010 for a stay in April 2010
This home was truly as advertised, and much much more. The attention to detail far exceeded any other home I have rented. For example, the bathroom floors were heated in the morning, there were boot warmers in the garage, and the jacuzzi automatically started up in the afternoon all ready to go after a great day on the slopes. The kitchen was newly remodeled and loaded with cooking utensils. Not only was the main lift only 75 yards from the front door, but the view of the mountains from the livingroom was spectacular. All in all a great ski vacation get away. I would definitely return next year!!

An Oregonian's visit to Tahoe 2010
OregonTerrific location - Terrific accomodations
Left on 02/14/2010 for a stay in February 2010
My husband and I had the opportunity to stay in Tahoe for some great skiing and staying in a vacation home directly across from the Heavenly ski lift. Our accomodations were perfect in every way - from a fully equipped kitchen to ski boot warmers - from a wonderful living room with a large TV to watch the winter Olympic games to relaxing indoors enjoying a hot jaccuzzi tub after a hard day on the slopes. I could continue with all of the special features but we had a wonderful week enjoying nearly perfect ski conditions. The house was clean and comfortable. It was truly a home away from home. We will return.

Our stay in this wonderful home in Heavenly was just perfect. The house itself was roomy, clean, well stocked with everything a house needs and a view that would be the envy of anyone staying across from a ski slope. If you enjoy skiing this is the house to ski in and out from, all you have to do is walk out the front door and your at the Heavenly tram and when you get back it a jump into the spa and a warm fire. We enjoyed it and will certainly return.

OregonComplete ski vacation home
Left on 12/02/2009 for a stay in February 2009
The residence is comfortable and fully equiped. We prefer to eat at home most of time and the fully stocked kitchen made cooking easy and fun.
What I most enjoyed was the hot tub and a cold beer after a hard day of skiing on an absolutly incredible mountain. The water temperature is set at a warm to hot 100 to 105 to soothe and soak those tired muscles.
The residence is located 5 minutes or less from the main cable car lift or 4-person chair lift. Since the residence has a unabstructed view of the mountain, I like being able to see first hand the weather conditions to make my decision to ski, wait an hour or two before going up or take the day off.
We definately enjoyed our stay at this residence and plan to enjoy the residence again in 2010.

New York, NYSTAY HERE! Super close to ski lift!
Left on 12/02/2009 for a stay in November 2009
Just had to post about our recent stay at Heavenly Ski Home. There were so many choices for rentals in Tahoe - we really lucked out with this house. The house is well maintained and the kitchen looks like it was recently renovated with granite countertops and new appliances. There's an indoor jacuzzi downstairs which was super clean and easy to use - really nice after a long day of skiing. The bedrooms are good sizes and the master bedroom has a wood burning stove in it. There's also free WiFi which was nice as we used our laptop to check the snow conditions (Heavenly was running 5 lifts when we stayed in November!). Now for the best part.....you can put your ski gear and boots on in the driveway, hoist your skis on your shoulder, and walk 2 minutes across the street and you're on the lift line. It is SO nice to be across the street from the lift when you're freezing and ready to come home for the day (and ready to get in the jacuzzi :-). We'd definitely stay here again - the owners were really friendly and easy to deal with.
