"Gunbarrel Lodge" is located directly across the street from the California Base Lodge of Heavenly Ski Resort. It is also within close proximity to the casinos at the state line and the nearest beach; both are a five minute drive away. This newly remodeled home is 1,875 square feet and can accommodate up to 11 people very comfortably. It has beautiful views of the Gunbarrel and World Cup runs and the surrounding mountains. The living room has a 42" HD Plasma-screen TV and there is wireless internet throughout the house.

We showed up just after 3' of snow fell the previous day. This house is as close to the lift for Heavenly as you can get. The accommodations were nice and modern. Everything has been recently upgraded. There is a German bar literally two houses down that was a surprise. It has a great ambiance and great food too. The hot tub looks right at a couple of double black diamonds. It was the perfect spot for me.

Loved it, exceeded all our expectations! Jucuzzi on the porch was clutch. The photos and the description didn't excite us at all. When we showed up I was shocked that the property management didn't really show the whole dynamic and beauty of the place. Good times!

This was a very enjoyable stay. The home looked just as it did in the pictures and everything was on point. Friendly staff also made it easy to get in and out. I will definitely recommend staying here again.

There were 10 of us staying in this house which is technically the full capacity. Everyone in the group was a couple and there were very few queen beds, lots of twins and bunks for singles and kids...but could use more queens. The place was very clean and well stocked with towels, supplies, and kitchenware. Had minor problem with the hot tub needed service when we arrived but the company was responsive in getting someone out quickly. This house is fantastic if you plan to ski heavenly!

Stayed here with 2 families of 4 and an additional father and son for a total of 5 adults and 5 children for 3 nights. The large open living area was great for our group and well-furnished. The bedrooms were larger than expected, and we didn't even need to use the additional loft (could have slept 2-3 more easily). The house was nicely updated and most of all the location was unbeatable with a view through the huge picture window right up the face of Heavenly (great to wake up to!). Very convenient to casinos, Heavenly Village, shopping, lake, and other SLT destinations and there was a great ale House restaurant just 2 doors down for appetizers, drinks or dinner. The snowbank across the street blocked what would've been a detracting view of the Heavenly parking lot for the California Lodge, so I suspect heart of winter views are the best. The kitchen was well-stocked and there were plenty of linens. Never used hot tub but it looked inviting. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location - right in front of the base of Heavenly. The house is lovely – it has a big, well-equipped kitchen with nice/ new appliances (we cooked and ate in for 5 days so that really mattered!). The living room is spacious, nicely furnished, and has a big TV. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also nice. I would definitely stay there again!
