What Past Guests Are Saying
We spent a ski weekend here for my son's 12th birthday. Everything was perfect! The house is beautiful, very clean, well stocked and so comfortable. My son has allergies to pets and dust, so we have to very picky about where we stay. There were no problems here. Also, there is a nice Raley's grocery store close by so we were able to buy food and cook in the well stocked kitchen. There are detailed instructions for how to operate everything from the apple TV to the hot tub, and the gas fireplace was wonderful. I would highly recommend to anyone.
Great service, great house!
This is a fantastic place to stay, spacious, modern with all the comforts you could need made all the better by the trusting attitude of owner Tom who will do his utmost to make your stay perfect.
Beautiful luxury cabin
My closest friends and I stayed here and this place is perfect. It's such a beautiful, large, and warm home, it has new and gorgeous furnishing, and the bedrooms are wonderful. The jacuzzi is new and fantastic. The owner is a pleasure to work with, and he was extremely responsive to our questions. After the weekend, we all agreed that we would definitely return to this specific place.
We also love the apple TV and the large gathering/living rooms. Perfect place!!!
Beautiful South Lake Tahoe Cabin
We spent 2 nights at this cabin and had a wonderful experience. When we arrived the place was spotless and towels were laid out in each bedroom which was appreciated. The kitchen is great for cooking a big meal and there is a spacious dining room table and breakfast table to enjoy your meals. The TV room is very cozy and there is another living room to relax in. Only thing I would say is the couches in the TV room really only comfortably fit 4-5 people so if you have a big group and want to watch a movie some may have to sit on the floor. The hot tub is very nice and spacious with a beautiful waterfall. The master bedroom is huge with a gorgeous adjoining bathroom. One of the bedrooms has bunkbeds and is perfect for kids. The other 2 bedrooms aren't huge but they have plenty of space considering you aren't coming to Tahoe to hang out in your room. The second bathroom up stairs is also very nice. The vanity area is a little small if you are sharing it with a number of other people but there are drawers where you can store your stuff. Going back to the kitchen, all the appliances are new, modern and top notch quality. There is also plenty of glasses, plates and silverware to entertain. The house's location is great- just about 10 minutes from all the great hot spots in South Lake Tahoe. It was so nice to stay in a place that felt like a cabin but still had all the modern luxuries you want while on vacation. I will definitely be back.
San Mateo, Ca
We had decided months ago to spend the Fourth of July Weekend in Tahoe. Our plan was to do summer activities-biking, walking, relaxing at the lake.
The house was perfect for my family and friends. It accommodated six adults and four small kids comfortably. It was very clean and the temperature inside the house remained cool and comfortable even without air conditioning, quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees, close to stores and Heavenly Ski Resort, stocked with all the hygiene supplies and kitchen plates/utensils/cookware that we needed-including a gas grill...plus a cool flat screen TV with apple TV, netflix, you tube, etc. The TV was the kids favorite!
Back to what our plan was- summer activities. Well...it turned out that Squaw Valley Ski Resort opened up for snow skiing- first time in almost twenty years- during the 7/4th weekend. What a bonus for my hubby! Both Squaw and Kirkwood are only within 30-45 minutes away from the house. So the weekend turned out even more perfect and satisfied us all- the Moms and kids hung out at the lake while the Dads went skiing. And everything was so conveniently located to the house.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone thinking of spending time in Tahoe with a group. The rental rate was reasonable and worth what you get for it. Better than staying at an expensive hotel!
New York City
complete rest, relaxation and recreation house
let's start at the end...
i would recommend this place and i would stay here again. and here's why. i stayed here with five friends and it was awesome. this is a complete rest, relaxation and recreation house. the recreation begins the moment you pull into the garage...you're greeted with top of the line bicycles, snow shoes, bbq grill, sleds and all sorts of other toys for your enjoyment. then you step foot into the house, and it's big - really big duplex with 2 living rooms - which is awesome. i had no idea i needed 2 living rooms, but guess what - it's a game changer and i now always want 2 living rooms.
and now the downside...1) the kitchen floors are c.o.l.d in the winter (so bring slippers), 2) there isn't a full length mirror (i kind of like to know what i look like from the waist down) and 3) the water is really h.o.t (so if you happen to like your skin be careful).
aside from these little issues the place is awesome. close to mountains and the lake. and the owner Thomas is a real trip - quite the funny character which makes the entire experience even better.

Absolutely a cozy family atmosphere!!
Loved spending time here with the family. Three generations. The grandparents, adults and little ones had a fabulous time here. Kitchen was more than accommodating for a family who loves to cook. Children loved the space and toys offered to play with. Great location!! Just minutes away from casino's, grocery stores and snow park. Friendly neighborhood and quiet at night. Highly recommend this home for the winter times. Plan to visit again!!! Owners where very hospitable.

Perfect Tahoe Getaway
My boyfriend and I recently rendezvoused with three friends and a toddler at this fabulous home. We couldn't have been happier! Snowshoeing out the backdoor, a twenty minute drive to Sierra for snowboarding, and even less to great restaurants in South Lake Tahoe. Not that we wanted to leave the gorgeous home; we ended up spending one whole day in front of the fireplace playing board games. The kitchen was fully equipped and the flat screened TV was loaded with Netflix. Each room was spotless and welcoming. A bath in the jacuzzi tub felt especially luxurious. I couldn't imagine a more perfect getaway for a family or group of friends.
A Fantastic, New, Well appointed Getaway Spot
My fianc? and I stayed here in December and again over MLK weekend with some friends. It is conveniently located, spacious, and beautifully appointed. It's brand new so not much to complain about. The master bedroom is huge. The 4th bedroom in the back of the house is a little small, but easily accommodates a queen bed and has decent closet-space. The log-frame beds in the master and queen bedrooms really give it a cabin feel. But, all the living areas are tastefully done as they would be in a home where you live every day, with elegant furnishings and creature comforts you'd expect, like plush couches, a large flat screen (which is even mounted on a swivel mount), large (oak I think) dining table, a breakfast bar, a gas river rock fireplace, and a granite kitchen. Having rented homes in Tahoe on many occasions before for our getaways, we have put this one at the top of the list.
