"Lazy Bear Lair" is located near the town of Meyers which is located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. It is approximately 10 miles from the casinos at the state line, and the nearest ski resort would be Heavenly being only a 15 minute drive away, or Sierra-at-Tahoe which is approximately 20 mintues away. Newly constructed, this luxury home is nestled in a very quiet, forested neighborhood, perfect for a quiet family or group getaway. With a pool table, private hot tub, 2 propane BBQ's and modem Internet, this home has every amenity you could need.

the place was beautiful. had everything that we wanted. very spacious, only down fall was it was 3 levels. also bring your own pool stick cause all but one had no tips. besides that it was a great stay for all of us.

Close to civilization, but feels like you are in the forest pines as you look out the expansive windows of this beautiful home! Enjoyed our family Christmas stay here with 9 people and plenty of room for everyone to be together or have private space. The best was the large round dining room table that seats 10 with a large lazy susan in the middle to put the food dishes. Everyone can talk around the table, and we enjoyed many great meals together here. All living spaces were comfortable and well furnished. Kitchen was well stocked to cook in with great appliances. Beds were all comfortable with cozy linens and comforters. Large master bathroom with huge whirlpool tub and fireplace was really nice. The house is on 3 levels, so anyone with disabilities would need to know this, there are a lot of stairs! The only drawbacks were that the outside hot tub didn't quite get as hot as we like it, and the alarm system kept announcing when any outside door was opened. The rental co was busy over the holiday, so we never knew how to disable this. They will need to be updating the Tv's soon, they work fine, but are not flat screen or high def.! These are minor issues, but just mentioning in case this is important to someone.

Our trip to South Lake Tahoe was a great vacation thanks to Buckingham rentals. The house we rented was all that the photos depicted and more! It accommodated 13 people with ease. Location was great as well as the facilities. Renting with Buchingham went very smooth, thanks guys!

The home was beautiful and its amenities were as described. The space was sufficient for our group of 9 adults and 3 kids ages 1-3. Appliances did their job as did the hot tub. Everything we needed for lodging on our ski/snowboard trip was provided. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare large amounts of food and the garage included shovels, snowblower and even sleds to deal with the snow. The back deck was perfect for grilling with trees as far as you can see. Would love to stay there again! The water heater did act up but maintenance was quick to get it up and running again with a single phone call.

The house in So. Lake Tahoe was very spacious with 3 levels, enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for food prep and serving a large family meal - so we only had to bring the food and prepare it! The master bedroom was very spacious, the bathroom had a nice large soaking tub with fireplace. There are multiple decks overlooking forested land - a very serene setting.

Terrific place for a large group or family. Beautiful home with lots of extras. Pool table, hot tub, cable TV, Internet access, nice kitchen, large decks, six bedrooms, four baths, four gas fireplaces, close to two golf courses(with more in the area), skiing, Lake Tahoe.
