Vacation in this waterfront 'safari-theme,' dog friendly home with private dock and luxury hot tub under a cozy gazebo. The home has the free use of 6 mountain bikes and a tandem kayak that can be launched from the dock in the back yard. A full size indoor air hockey table is available as well as team horseshoe toss outside as well as a children's sand pit.

There's an upstairs living room with vaulted ceilings in this bright, open, private home with over 2300 square feet to spread out in. The 42' HDTV entertainment system brings alive the great room that's adjacent to the open plan kitchen. The view from the balcony (with the chef's qua...lity BBQ) of the lagoon and mountains in this 750 acre private marina is stunning.

Relax around the two fireplaces and personal master jacuzzi in this four bedroom, three full bath home. It's full of deluxe appointments including five color TVs and two DVD players. All overlooking a deluxe hot tub under an outdoor gazebo as well as the private dock, lawn furniture, horse shoe toss, marshmallow fire pit and sand pit.

There is also a second kitchen downstairs in the living room which is great for kids to watch DVDs or play air hockey.

Mt. SWILD, which can be seen from Heavenly, has exceptional lagoon and mountain views. There's wireless broadband, five cable TVs, a BluRay DVD Bose sound system upstairs, DVD player downstairs, dishwasher, two microwaves, washer/dryer and two gas/wood burning fireplaces.

Complimentary Services for Guests: There's bass, crappie and trout lagoon fly fishing from the dock. Launch your boat two minutes away in Tahoe Keys Marina. For golfers, Mt. SWILD is a perfect location to enjoy Lake Tahoe's excellent gold courses.

Guests have the complimentary use of six mountain bikes, tandem kayak and two snow sleds. The fenced kennel has a dogloo, pooper scooper, water and food bowls for your dog's enjoyment.

There's a two car garage with additional off-street parking for two more vehicles - critical for snow removal. Sorry, no smoking.

Exclusive Tahoe Keys Amenities: Exclusive Tahoe Keys amenities, including an indoor Olympic pool, health club and private beachside pool are available for a daily use fee. Seven tennis courts, basketball court, a sand volley ball court and a putting green are also available.

The minimum rental is two nights (see below for holidays, winter and summer minimums); a $300 cleaning fee is charged for each rental which comes with all bed linens; 2 bath towels, hand towel and face cloth per person; toilet paper, soap and shampoo per bathroom; kitchen paper towels and cloths; garbage bags; cleaning fee also includes hot tub cleaning.

This is a dog friendly home. No cats or kittens. $1,500 pet security deposit in addition to standard security deposit of $1,500. A pet cleaning fee of $40 is charged for all rentals with a dog. If your dog pees in the house, carpet cleaning charges will apply as directed by the South Lake Tahoe Rentals' cleaning crew.

Please add 10% city tax on rental and cleaning charges

  This house located the very good area closed to everywhere and it is the front lake house. We mall love the house as well, the house is so clean and well maintained by the owner/property manager. We will definitely go back next time to stay at this place, but maybe we will try in the Spring or Summer.

  This house had a lot of space and provided for all types of activities. We truly appreciated the ability to have the bikes and boat at our disposal. The house is a bit dated and could use and update. We were there for fives days and enjoyed all our time. It was easy access to all the Tahoe has to offer. The managemet company was great at providing information as well as coupon which we used.

  We took our family and grandkids to stay in the Safari Home located in Tahoe Keys. The home was beautiful and the setting was awesome. The home is beautifully decorated and water laps up to the backyard along with spectacular mountain views. We were minutes the lake and stateline.
  
  The owner was completely organized and every question was answered in advance, making renting it a breeze. Plus, the service for any little problem we experienced was swift and efficient.
  
  For a wonderful vacation, you can't go wrong with the Safari House.

  This is a beautiful rental property. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Kitchen is large and fully equipped. The views are spectacular. We spent most of our time enjoying the private dock, hot tub and having meals on the upstairs deck. Especially appreciated having the side kennel for our dog (even though we didn't use it, it was nice to know it was there if we did) and the use of the free Kayak. If we stayed longer, we probably would have used the 6 mountain bikes. Lovely rental, when we come back to South Lake, we will come back to this rental.
