My two friends and I had a wonderful getaway at this house. The open living room and the picturesque deck made the cost of the house immediately worth it. The house definitely feels like a home and we found ourselves getting comfortable in it very quickly.
There were a few draw backs: the house is fairly outdated, and a few areas were in need of small fixes (downstairs bathroom door, coffee pot, etc.). Also, the blue boat in the photo was underwater and full of mold when we were there. I imagine that's likely not always the case (and it was too cold to use it at the time anyway).Overall, I don't believe these took away from our experience at all.
Also, the staff at Coldwell Banker were fantastic and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had (and were even willing to ship us an item we had accidentally left at the property!). Definitely added to the experience.
I would and definitely hope to stay at this rental again!

We loved waking up every morning to the picturesque view you see outside...it was awesome! My husband has back problems but I should say I was surprised when he said that the bed was actually comfortable. The kids had fun in the loft! We are 2 families and we were all comfortable. For what we paid for for this cabin during the winter time, it sure was worth it.
-fridge door needs to be fixed, you have to kinda know how to close it properly, otherwise it won't close all the way
-bathroom door downstairs need some work
-couches need to be upgraded
-it would be nice to have a patio heater; we couldn't stay out too long in the patio to enjoy the sunset because it was too cold

Wanted to surprise my husband for his 40th birthday. He loves the outdoors, fishing and boating. Really wanted to find a house on the water. He loved fishing from the boat dock and the view was fantastic! We spent more time looking out the back wall of windows than the tv! Everything was great and we would definitely rent again. Suggestion: Consider having some landscaping done as the yard makes the house look deserted and lower scale than it is. The weekend worked out perfectly!
Property in need of repair

A great location and ccould be a wonderful property. The property is in need of repair, there are broken bathroom doors, refrigerator is broken and makes a horrible noise. There are plumbing problems with the upstairs bath. None of the exterior lights work. The property is advertised as having a BBQ but dont be fooled the BBQ is barely standing on three legs and is actually dangerous if you were to have hot coals. I could go on but we will just leave it at this. The property is in need of some pretty simple repairs. But for the money I would say it is not the best deal on the Keys.

Had a lot of fun. nice place to stay, would stay again. the owners of this rental really need to remodel the inside really old stuff, and there are tricky the boat dock does not belong to you, it is fenced off!! also when we walked in the first thing we had to do was clean.

It was the first time that I worked with you .the house was full of dust and we should clean it to use . for two nights we didn't have power and the first night it was a bat in the house and we all were panicked how to get red of it, by the way this house was rented to eight people it was just two toilet paper for eight people for three days I think is company responsibility to take care of the house if you charge people for that.
thank you Read more

There was a power outage in the neighborhood that was repaired by the power company soon after it was reported. The guests never complained to us about the cleanliness of the house. If they had we would have been happy to send the cleaning company back to the house. The property manager checked this house prior to these guests checking in and it had been completely cleaned and was ready for occupancy. The cleaners do not provide an unlimited amount of supplies like toilet paper in our rentals. We provide enough for guests to get started, from there, they will need to purchase more themselves if they run out.
What a Great Place!!

My family and I rented this little gem last month and I have to say that it's a terrific value. We have 2 kids and they really enjoyed fishing from the dock, riding their bikes around the neighborhood and playing at the beaches nearby. Both my wife and I enjoyed morning coffee on the back deck each morning - what a treat!
This is not a fancy cabin or expensive hotel room. It's a comfortable family house with everything you need. If you love boating, or being close to the lake this is the perfect solution. I brought up our 19ft boat and had it parked right at the end of the dock! This made it incredible easy to run around the lake, fish and explore.
The house is also conveniently located near Pope Beach, shopping, the grocery store, bike trails, golf courses - everything.
Couple things to keep in mind during your stay: The afternoon sun can be strong coming through the windows so you need to keep the curtains closed or open windows as the cabin warms up. There are fees to use some of the Keys facilities including the boat launch.
Can't wait to go back.

This place was great and easily sleeps 6 with room to spare.
Great amenities with flat screen tvs, comfy furniture and it was nice having a washer and dryer. The back deck overlooking the lake-fed canals was great for relaxing in the morning with a cup of coffee and great for Bbqing in the evening as the sun set and the lights from the neighboring homes lit up the water. It's located minutes from local beaches and walking/bike paths and only about 10 minutes away from the casinos.
We had a great time and can't wait to visit again soon.
