The Morrow Retreat was so much more than we expected. Having been to Tahoe so many times, we knew this holiday season we wanted some real snow time without having to go out of state which is what we usually do. We have skiers and snowboarders and they had an exceptional time at Heavenly. Snow couldn't have been more perfect. But, the house was just right for us. There was our 3 adult daughters and my wife and I. The house was very comfortable and plenty of room. Very clean, great kitchen and every room was so large, it was perfect. We also had our 2 little dogs and the street was so much fun for them to romp up and down. The snow guys kept the streets in great shape for us to go in and out with our truck. We had guests come to visit and they were so impressed with the house and the area. We hope we can come back soon.

This is one vacation rental that covers all of the amenities you will need for a memorable Tahoe trip. My wife and I stayed at the home for a week and it was the most relaxing week we have shared since we had kids. We enjoyed it so much as a couple that we rented it 6 months later and invited 2 other families to join us. The home easily and comfortably accommodates large groups. A typical day saw us wake to the sun rising over the Tahoe mountains. We would take a bike ride to the lake and to the shops at Stateline. On days the men were able to sneak away the golf course is less then 5 minutes away. For the ladies, the shops at the Y are right around the corner. We would return to BBQ on the massive deck while the kids enjoyed the kayak conveniently located on our personal dock! Regardless of what activities we were doing, everyone would make a point to gather on the deck to observe what can only be described as a majestic sunset over the mountain to the west. Once the sun goes down, it's time for the adults to party! It's a short drive to Stateline and the casinos. As a night cap, we would gather at the bar in the living room, play a little pool and wrap up the evening in the hot tub! On a personal note, if you don't take full advantage of the "Olympic sized" Jacuzzi in the master suite, you have really missed the boat. We have already scheduled our 2013 family vacation at what our affectionalty call our "Tahoe home"!
The realtor was amazing to work with and the hand-off and return was as easy as 1-2-3. We would never consider staying anywhere but the Morro retreat again.

We loved staying at the Morrow Retreat-- so much that we returned 3 weeks later! It's perfect in warm weather because the house opens out onto the private back deck, grassy enclosed lawn, hot tub and boat dock with double kayak. Our Jack Russell loved his independence there, as did we. Each afternoon, we put our dog on the kayak and the 3 of us rowed out to the white sands beach just at the mouth of the keyes. We walked and swam and were highly entertained by our Jack Russell, who had the time of his life. Then it was back for relaxation listening to the lovely breeze wafting through the aspen trees in the back yard and soakling in the hot tub.., or a game of pool before grilling dinner on the deck. Thank you Rosemarie, for yet another great Tahoe experience..

Out of all my experiences with house rentals, I could honestly say this was the best one I've had. The house was beautiful right on the water. The beds were extremely comfortable. The house came equip with a kayak. My family and I had a very pleasant stay and will definitely be returning.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Morro Retreat! The house was well situated at the end of a quiet street, and right on the water with it's own dock. It was fun being able to take the kayak that was provided with the house, and paddle right from our own dock out to the lake! The house was well stocked with everything we needed, from towels and linens to a gas barbeque grill on the beautiful back deck. Everyone in our family group commented on how comfortable the beds were also! We had a most enjoyable time, and would definitely stay here again!
