The High Meadows home looks like a ranch-style home, but is actually a wonderful two story home. This lovely three bedroom home is designed to accommodate 10. The family room downstairs has been transformed from the kids area to an inhome sports bar for grown ups. There are two flat screen TV's, a pool table , hot tub and a wet bar. The main living room upstairs with its own river rock fireplace and another flat screen, provides another comfortable gathering space. It went pretty well but we were there early and wanted to check in. The maids were supposed to call back when they were finished and they did not. We sat there waiting for an hour!

My friends and I had a wonderful time at 1808! The rustic feel/interior design of the house gave it so much character, but the hot tub looked brand new and we spent most of our time in there :) Most of the appliances are new except the oven/stove looked like it was from the 1960's and didn't work super well, but other than that, the house was perfect. Pool table was really nice and loved the fact that there are two fireplaces. Would definitely stay here again!

At first Ill say I was worried. Like too good to be true. So I would have liked more communication inbetween deposit and full payment and paid infull to actual dates. Only because it was already pd for and only insurance we had were emails. But it was real yeah! Check in easy! Directions easy. House was clean and ready for us. Pool table great. Fireplace great (check filters though). Its great for a weekend stay. We appreciated that they were able to accomadate us for 2 days instead of 3 like most required for the weekend we stayed. They fit there name!

Property was in a great location - quiet, winter wonderland, easy access to town and the lifts (a car is required)!
It was spacious and the pool room was a great addition as well as the hot tub. A few improvements in the kitchen would be a good addition - the oven was small (to feed 10) and an electric kettle would have been handy. The check in process was easy although the people in the check in office were not particularly friendly! -

The home was nice and the layout was good. It looked like the home owners had done some upgrades which were nice but some regular maintenance seemed to be lacking. The carpet was really dirty to the point that most of us wore shoes everywhere. The bathroom door in the master was busted up on the lock. In multiple rooms there were dried up smashed bugs on the ceilings. If the place had new carpet or deep cleaned carpet and a new coat of paint in the house it would be perfect. Some outdoor furniture that wasn't falling apart would have also been nice.

Wow this house was very beautiful and really enjoyed our stay. I love tahoe and this being my first time experiancing something like this made me want to come back soon. I loved this house so much that i would rent the same one again. the location was really nice not to far from all the attractions on south lake. Very satisfied with the stay, was a very smooth trip with the help of accomodations. Thank You!

I went up with a group of ten this past weekend august 3rd - august 5th. we had a great time, plenty of room and the decks were used a lot since they had the bbq on the top deck and the spa on the lower. we were a twenty dollar cab ride away from the state line. which is not that bad for ten people to split. the house its self is easy to get to right of the main street its on. the one down fall was that there was no A.C. so when we got there friday it was really warm, but it did cool down at night, suggest to bring a fan or to if you run hot like me :). the beds were comfy and the pool table was also a hit among my friends, as well as the wet bar down stairs. the only thing i could find that was wrong was the door handle on the upstairs bathroom it was installed backwards so you couldnt lock the door. other than that we had a great time and definitely would book this property again!

We loved this place! It is great that there is a bedroom upstairs and downstairs so it felt like we had our own space. I stayed in the bedroom downstairs with the queen and it was a really comfortable bed! The hot tub was great and the pool table was really nice. We had 4 adults and three kids and there was plenty of space and no issues at all with hot water for showers! We looked everywhere for weeks for a place to stay and we definitely made the right decision, especially since the cost was so reasonable. We will definitely be back!!
