Description from the manager
Classic elegance reverberates through out this mountain home. This home will not disappoint those in search of a fabulous Tahoe vacation. In addition to the contemporary mountain themed décor, hard wood floors and 2 gas fireplaces, the vaulted living room windows offer refreshing “tree top” views, not views of the neighbors. The Plumas home also features a private Jacuzzi on the deck, a separate room with a pool table and a fairly self sustaining media room. Spacious as it is unique, it features a 51 inch flat screen TV, Bose surround sound entertainment system , 2 dark brown leather sleeper sofas, a leather chair with ottoman an a w...Read more

Red Bluff, CA, United StatesPeaceful Property

We rented this property during Spring Break and had a wonderful time. The size of this home with its entertainment room and pool table makes it a great house for families. We'd definitely rent that property again.

We had 2 families with kids and a couple staying at this property for our Tahoe vacation. The location is perfect - my mother-in-law went to the casinos while the rest of the family skied at Sierra. The house was very spacious and overall great. The kitchen was well stocked and the pool table provided entertainment for the kids. The only con was the shower leaked water out and the master shower did not drain well. Not a deal breaker though. We will be back!

The house is beautiful! We were all very impressed with the decor and layout. The house has is fully stocked with everything you need! Minus the garbage left behind in the guest bathroom, the house was spotless and very well maintained. Will definitely be back again!

an enjoyable stay
Left on 09/25/2012 for a stay in September 2012
The amenities (jacuzzi, pool table, game room, wi-fi, washer/dryer and bbq grill) were what attracted us to the home.
Pros: The home was about 15 minutes away from the casinos, but it was okay with my family as we were mainly there to get away from crowds. The home has near-by bike trails and the neighborhood is quiet with rarely any cars passing by. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. The game room and pool table kept us entertained and we didn’t feel the need to seek entertainment elsewhere. The furniture and décor is clean, inviting and comfortable. Easy access to the 50.
Cons: We were disappointed that the Jacuzzi did not work for more than half of our stay (2 nights). It was looked into the next evening but took 3+ hours to heat up. It appears none of the down stairs room (including bathroom) locks and the down stair’s bathroom/shower leaked water each time someone showers as it appears it was a Jacuzzi tub (jets not working) were converted to be a shower/bath combo (water collects in cracks and leaks onto bathroom floor). Luckily we brought our own towels because we ended up using most of towels (provided by the home) for mopping up the bathroom floor after each shower. The home did not have a blow dryer (or at least that we could find). Although, the home had a washer/dryer, it took longer than an hour to dry clothes (I am assuming because it is an energy efficient washer/dryer).
Even with the inconvenience mentioned above, overall, my family and I would consider renting this home in future trips to South Lake Tahoe. -

Thanks for being organized and helpful during our stay at the above location 8/4 to 8/11. The house met our needs and we had a good time. We thought the house was clean, well furnished, had quallity appliances and the kids enjoyed the pool table, media room and hot tub, especially. Also, thanks for the prompt response to the bear getting in to the trash. The box was fixed within a couple of days.
A few minor points I'd note need some attention:
The downstairs bathroom lock does not work
The upstairs half-bath inside door handle is quite loose and ready to fall out. It still works, but needs attention.
The grinder/disposal in the sink on the kitchen island does not work. There may be scraps accumulating in there, but we tried not to use it when we discovered it didn't work.
I'd suggest you have an HVAC firm look at the air circulation system. We just could not get the inside of the house as comfortable as the air outside. It seemed inside was always warmer. This is particularly true for the master bedroom where only one window can be opened, thus eliminating cross ventilation. It would help a lot, I believe, if another window in that room could be opened. I know we did not have the system set to heat.
Again, overall it was fine and thank you and the owner.

The only negative thing I can say about my stay is that we couldn't find the trash bags & the two glass doors to the patio where hard to close/lock...other then that our stay was wonderful

The house met all of expectations, we had family arrive from Australia and California and all aspects of the rental were perfect. A note of thanks to the rental company for their very quick and efficient repair of the heating system. We would definitely stay at this property again. Perfect amenities and situation for a winter break. Thanks

Despite a few minor issues - the handle to the jet tub coming off and some dirty dishes in the cabinets, overall this is a great place for our family and extended family to stay. We went skiing at Sierra-at-Tahoe and it was the perfect location (20 minutes to the ski resort and 15 minutes to the casinos). There was plenty of room for our 3 families of 6 adults and 5 kids. Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed in this house for superbowl weekend... Everyone loved the home! We rent in Tahoe every winter for our annual family trip and a number of us said that this was one of the best homes we've stayed in. The entertainment room was perfect for watching the superbowl and had an excellent TV and sound system. The home is tastefully decorated and everyone commented on how nice the furnishings were. The kitchen was also well-equipped for our needs. The location is further away from the casinos and grocery stores but it was closer to the slopes(sierra-at-tahoe) so it wasn't a terrible location. We had some trouble with the alarm system going off during check-in but staff from Accommodation station took care of it. Overall, it was a great place to stay and definitely recommend it to those looking to stay in Tahoe.

This rental is absolutely beautiful. We did not want to leave. It has a very nice atmosphere in a great neighborhood. We had a problem with the locks and it was fixed promptly after calling about it. The pictures do not do this place justice. I would definitely recommend renting this property and I will be renting again.

I was guiding a Brazilian family through California and Tahoe was our last destination. I couldn't have chosen a better place for them to stay. This cabin is simply amazing! The pictures can't tell all about it. I strongly recommend Plumas Circle Executive Home and can say that people from Accommodation Station Rentals offers a great service. I'll be back!

First off, the property was well-over of what I had expected. Perfect for families and groups of friends. My girlfriend has the worst case of allergies and any dust can set her off for hours. She barely blew her nose which tells us that the place was super clean and well maintained. Our Dinners were great. A Fully Equipped Kitchen saved us from making extra trips to the market. I've been on many cabin trips and truthfully I would have to say that this cabin was the best. Hands Down. Who ever stay at this location would not be disappointed. I guarantee it.

Me and my family enjoyed this property in the South Lake Tahoe area. While it wasn't right in town, it was about 10 mins west in a town called Meyers. That didnt matter, this place was top notch and had anything anyone would need for a vacation. Also, nice thing about Meyers is that it is at a higher elevation than the lake, so we got some great snow while we were there. I cant wait to spend next thanksgiving there as well!!!
