This lakefront villa is nestled in a quiet, gated community with its own private beach and pier. It is 4,000 square feet of contemporary country elegance and it can sleep 14 people. I truly had a wonderful time.I rented this property for my Christmas vacation and I couldn't have made a better choice. The home was beautiful and the pictures doesn't give it enough justice. There was a small problem with the internet but it was quickly resolved. The location was the best on the lake and the amenities were top of the line.I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a wonderful time in a fabulous location.

      Fabulous Lakefront Home

Left on 09/13/2012 for a stay in August 2012

This home had plenty of high end supplies - dishes, appliances, silverware, towels - the best of all the homes I have stayed at. Great if you don't want to spend your time running loads of towels and dishes through the wash. Light on supplies of sundries though. The Cephalon pots and pans do need replaced because the coating is scratching off, and we pointed this out to the house manager. Double washer and dryer, one in the house and one in the garage. Kids play structure and horse shoe pit that are not listed in the house description. The game room got lots of use, but two of the games did not work. The homes audio video system is unique and hard to use, so we had problems using some of the televisions and the wireless internet gave us some problems that took a few days to resolve. The bathrooms have some great jacuzzi tubs (3) and showers, so enjoy those - especially the master bath! I will leave that as a surprise, but make sure get the full instructions on how to use the tub because there are no instructions and you will need them. It is very unique and very cool! The cleaning people will be there a few minutes before checkout rushing you out and don't expect to check in a minute early. I didn't get a warm cozy welcome or good instructions on getting past the parking control at Camp Richardson or if a parking pass was needed. When I needed help on the internet, I felt like I was wrong and an inconvenience, even though it turned out I was right and the internet did need a password. When we called for help on draining the jacuzzi tub, no one came out so we were unable to use the tub for the remainder of our stay. On the last day, when the cleaning crew showed up a few minutes early and we let them in, they we brusque and unfriendly, even though we had already washed every dirty towel. We noticed they brought fresh flowers for the next guests, a nicety we did not recieve when we checked in. The house was great, but the service was not.

Great House - But Needs a Generator!

Left on 01/05/2011 for a stay in December 2010

The house is beautiful and offers all the latest technologies and comforts. However, in the middle of winter in Tahoe - the owners should have planned for power outages. We lost power for 2 1/2 out of 6 days that we stayed there. It was horrible!!! everything (included the water) ran on electricity. We couldn't shower or use the bathrooms because we didn't have any water. The owners spared no expense on the house - I don't know why they didn't think to put a generator. If you are going to stay during the winter months - make sure the owners have installed a generator - or I wouldn't recommend it.

      Fabulous House

Left on 09/09/2010 for a stay in August 2010

This has to be one of the top rental properties available. The setting right on the lake is breathtaking and the house itself is tasteful and luxurious.
We had a few technical difficulties with certain appliances but this is nit-picking!
We had our wedding there and it was just the perfect venue.
