Nicely remodeled condo just a short walk from the beach. - Sleeps 6
Hibiscus #4 was remodeled several years ago. It includes additional features that the lower units do not have - washer/dryer, dishwasher, granite counter, new appliances, new tiled floors and a tiled master bedroom shower.
Hibiscus Condos were totally remodeled and have a wonderful outdoor space. The pool and gazebo take up the entire backyard and is shared by only 4 condo's. It is the nicest pool and backyard on South Padre Island in a small complex. The beach is one block away.

We stayed here last year during labor day weekend with our kids. It was very clean, cozy, and just the right size for our family. I was concerned that we would be too crammed in because it's not a 2 bedroom, but that was not the case at all. My kids loved the very clean pool and deck area. The beach is literally just a short walk. The price for the 3 day weekend was very affordable compared to other rentals in the area. I had no issues at all with my stay or management. We will be coming back this year for labor day weekend.

32176Excellent Condo except for noisy neighbors

I would rate this condo as excellent except for one condition. Twice during my stay I had extremely noisy neighbors (floor vibrating from stereo) and use of pool out the backdoor all night long. The first time I called to complain to management, it took them 3 hours to respond because of backed up traffic on the South Padre causeway. The second time I complained at a later date, they responded immediately and took care of the problem.
Apparently this is a common problem on South Padre Island on weekends, particularly the Semana Santa weekend. This really took the edge off my 5 week vacation. I've opted for a condo complex with onsite management for this year's vacation.Response from Rent On Padre - 01/24/2012

Thank you for the Review. Semana Santa (Easter) is as loud as Spring Break anywhere on the island. In fact, for many Mexican Nationals, it is spring break. Most of the time, The Island is a quiet place, even on weekends. The busiest weeks (Spring Break, Semana Santa, 4th of July) are the times to avoid, if you are looking for quiet.

Mangement does everything possible to make your check-in uneventful, and very helpful with any questions.
Condo is in a excellent location on the island close to the
beach, restaurent, and shopping. Could use a few more dishes and pot and pans, and silver ware for long term stay
We stayed Jan - Feb of 2011. Over all mangement was great.
