The complex is situated in the center of the top Island resorts, within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, Island activities and attractions. There are minibuses called 'The Wave' that are free of charge to transport you up and down Padre Blvd., the main street on SPI. No need to use the public 7th floor sundeck you have your own private 7th floor sundeck for sunbathing options. A spacious second floor common area offers a cozy environment to meet other guests, read, watch TV, or put together jigsaw puzzles. Enjoy the sandy beaches, excellent for sunbathing, swimming, shell hunting, castle building and leisurely walking. The gulf and bay provide opportunities for surfing, kite boarding, wind surfing, and fishing. Attractions include the Schlitterbahn Water Park Resort. We really enjoyed this apartment during our Winter Texan stay. We spend many hours outside on the spacious terrace and the balcony. There is always sun somewhere or shade when you need it. The inside is very spacious as well and everything is very functional and well maintained. The views from the dining table are great. The kitchen (newly remodeled) has plenty of work spaces and enough plates and silver ware to fill the dishwasher without running out. We really loved the 2 recliners for watching TV and sometimes dozing off. The 2 sofas are also very nice and the fact that there are 2 telephones downstairs (one wireless) was very convenient. The WiFi Internet connection worked with no problems. The master bedroom with another telephone and a TV has such great views ! The 2 chairs and a ottoman saw plenty use by us for the afternoon and the sunsets. The guest bedroom also with a TV is also very nice with a great view and has an extra chair and ottoman to relax for the sunset. The upstairs bathrooms had new toilets installed.
The complex is well maintained and the large heated swimming pool provided us plenty of swimming and exercise. There even are people who do pool aerobics every day and they welcomed us :-) The hot tub is extremely relaxing and there is plenty of room to stretch. We also liked the fact that we could use the other swimming pool and hot tub from the beachfront complex. There is plenty of opportunities for tennis and two indoor racquetball courts, that can be used for badminton, yeah :-))) Oh, did we mention the well equipped fitness room, and the sauna. Indeed a wonderful vacation and very relaxing.
Also thank you to the staff on-site for always helping out with whatever needs arise. We were glad that the owner has made an arrangement with them for his guests.
... and finally, we love the fact that the complex is recycling paper, plastic bottles, and aluminum.
We plan to stay in this apartment and resort again next year, already booked :-)

This condo is outstanding for the great location on the island and the expansive views. You are in easy walking distance to restaurants but we hated to leave the condos views and comfort. Breakfast was a treat on the balcony watching and listening to the waves. We will be back!

We loved every minute. First for the basics: The check in/out was easy in the lobby of the condo building, the condo was very clean and well equipped. However, the best part was the private deck and the views which made it hard to leave! We will be back!

Our first trip to SPI was wonderful and relaxing. We rented unit 721 in Sunchase after viewing online because it looked like exactly what we were looking for. ...and we were right ! The view of the beach from the huge 7th floor deck was wonderful and the Condo throughout was very spacious, clean and nicely equiped. We visited during the off season so no crowds and plenty of privacy on the beach. Our getaway was very quiet and relaxing ! We are considering coming back next year for a longer stay in hopes that our adult children can come for a visit as well. I would recommend this Condo and SPI to anyone.

A perfect stay. Always clean. Best views of all of the Sunchase IV condos and the extra side deck is our favorite spot. The kids enjoyed the pool, tennis and ping pong, the adults took advantage of the fitness center and especially the views. The updates to the property are looking grand, as well!
Take in the Pier 19 sunset Dolphin tours and especially the Tuesday night Luau and buffet at Louie's backyard for some great memories.

The unit itself has been improved over the last year and the Condo complex looks much better as well. We look forward to the completion of the complex renovation in 2012. This unit's outside is already done, and is a nice showcase and how fabulous the complex will look. We will be back soon and look forward to hang out in this Unit, especially the wonderful outside balconies and the fantastic patio - THX for the additional chairs (we counted 10) and the new cushions on the 4 loungers

I would have expected to pay a lot more for such a wonderful property. It is in a perfect location and in a beautiful building. The large outside balony and deck are something most units don't have. Sunchase management are very nice and efficient. I needed something printed from an email and they let me use their computer and printer to get it! Check-in was fast and efficient as well as check out. The building was being painted on the outside so parking and scaffolding were a little problematic but not overbearing. I can't think of one negative or derogatory thing to say about our stay from the weather to the condo. Everything was great...free wifi, stocked kitchen, view, comfort...everything. Thanks for a great time! And when I rate this condo as excellent, I mean excellent!

The accommodations we made for Father's Day weekend made our stay stress free, fun and very relaxing. The condo and apartment provided a wonderful view of the beach and also of the bay from the lower and upper balconies. The spacious two floor apartment was configured in such a unique way you could enjoy both a sunrise and sunset. The apartment furniture added to the decor it was very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen and rooms were very well equipped and beautiful; we did not need any additional appliances. Everything was readily available for us the moment we arrived. Both the ocean and bay view were very appealing to us and the wonderful sound of the ocean in the background especially during the night so soothing and relaxing. My wife and I spent the afternoon at the beach, dined during the evening and walked the beach at night. The staff at the condo was wonderful and security was very efficient at this location. My wife and I will definitely return and enjoy it again. Great parking too!!

After Our long commute from Dallas we all were anxious to drop our bags and run to the beach. When we opened the door to this unit all four of us had our breath taken away by this spectacular condo and views. The check-in was fast and courteous. We had the "best" week on the beach ever. Our condo "721" was magnificent. Organized, clean, and well equipped and we will stay there again. Thank You for a wonderful beach experience.

My wife and I were looking for a spring break beach vacation for us and our two kids on South Padre away from the college crowd. This property was an excellent selection for that. The beach was a short stroll away and provided a semi private feel as the crowds were a distance down the beach. When we were too tired to head to the beach, the hot tub and pool were just steps away. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The apartment was very spacious and gave the feel of a home. Our family could hang together comfortably when we wanted to, but we could also find plenty of space to have personal time. The extensive patio and private sun deck got daily use. Breakfast on the patio was a beautiful start to each day. The view to the beach and the sound of the waves provided great scenery for relaxing on the sundeck. The owner called mid-week to check and ensure everything was up to standard, and we were happy to report we were having a great time and had no major issues. We'll definitely be back to this property in the future and have already recommended it to many of our friends for their future travels to South Padre.

I've been visiting this location every few years since the 80s. We love it. we were so excited this time to see all of the updates done - new pool etc. The grounds are always immaculate and the service is great. This year we found the condo that we will always return to! I hesitate to tell you how wonderful our stay was for us this week... I'd like to keep it as our best kept secret! The private deck really makes it - along with the views over the bay from the bedrooms and over the beach from the living area. We had all of the things we needed for the week. We made plans with our kids to go to the water park, etc but the kids were so content and just wanted to stay at the condo and enjoy the beach, pool,tennis, ping pong, etc. We had a wonderful time and we will be back! What a blessing of rest, drinking in the beauty of God's creation and spending time together as a family. Many thanks!

My family and I had a two week vacation in June and spend them at Sunchase IV in South Padre Island.
It was a great time. The Condo is awesome, located in the 7th floor with a nice view to the beach and ocean. Every morning the sun was shining through the windows and softly waking us up. I miss it...
The Condo is very large and the patio invites to head out and just relax. The Condo was in a clean condition and good maintained shape.
Our son loved the pool area and spend a lot of time there. The beach area is very close by and also awesome. At that area the beach is like a private beach as there is no public access close by.
The property was always cleaned up and maintained. My wife and I appreciated the security level which always gave us a save feeling for ourselfs and the car. The guards were very friendly and helpfull.
The contact to the owner was easy, friendly and fast responding. No problems at all.
We already recommended the condo to friends and colleagues.
If we could, we would comeback every year !!! -

We had a great time in this home, I call it home because it felt like home, it was our second time in South Padre Island and we loved it. The place was clean, lots of room and the view and space in the balcony was awesome . Loved the bedrooms being upstairs as it was quiet, the sheets were soft . Our Kids loved the place, and beach . The pool was very clean.

We had a great time in this apartment. It is our second time at South Padre Island and we enjoyed it this time much better because of the apartment. The views were amazing and the apartment is very well maintained and very clean. Our kids loved the beach and the pool.

Wow, this was perfect. This was a repeat stay (also May 2011). We had such a fantastic stay in this condo and at the Sunchase IV resort - we did not want to leave. Everything went extremely smooth from contacting the owner (super friendly and very helpful and honest), to making the reservation, to checking in with Sprr (what a team!) on site, to, sadly, checking out.
We found the condo in tip top shape and just as described, well actually it was sooo much better - words and pictures hardly do this place justice.
You have to experience and live it !!! We will definitely come back and stay in this unit hopefully even longer, if not this year then for sure next year. It is our favorite spot.
