Beach House I Condominiums gives you a perfect ocean view from every condominium, Elevator, solar heated pool, Jacuzzi, large patio area, laundry facilities. (Rentals Limited to Families and Adult Couples only). Beach House I Condominiums is located at 3400 Gulf Blvd., at the corner of Bahama. Maximum Occupancy including children is 6. One parking permit is issued per rental.

  This was our first family vacation to South Padre and we are so pleased with our selection of condos, places to eat, and attractions to visit. Thanks to Trip advisor, I was able to check out reviews and picture prior to traveling. The Beach House #203 was a great place for us to stay. The check in was easy (just a few blocks down and one block up from the condo itself). The condos are secured with a gate and a parking pass had to be obtained by the condo manager's office upon arrival. These condos do not allow pets unless you are an owner, smoking only on the balconies and outside the units as long as the mess is cleaned up, no towels or swimsuits hanging from balconies, but you can hang them over the backs of chairs outside, and no collecting of "stuff" outside the unit to create clutter. There is plenty of room for out stuff right inside the unit. The kitchen is spacious and all supplies are included (blender, two-slot toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, lots of tupperware with lids, dishes, glasses, etc. There is a dishwasher but only one dishwashing tablet is provided. There are no oven mitts provided, so I had to use a towel to retrieve a cookie sheet from the oven. The microwave is old and quite rusted, but it does the job. There is a nice sized pantry. The refrigerator was very nice and the freezer had ice cube trays and an ice bin. The 2nd bedroom is spacious with a king sized bed. It has a 6-drawer dresser with a lamp and TV and a night table with a lamp. The closet even had some beach supplies (2 beach umbrellas and 2 beach chairs). There is a vacuum cleaner and a broom and dustpan in the closet, as well. The 2nd bathroom includes lots of storage under the sink and 2 drawers and a tub with shower. This condo has lots of hooks to hang up wet clothes and towels. The dining room/living room is great. Our oldest son slept on the over-sized chair and our youngest son slept on one end of the sofa. The sofa is super comfortable. The living room is nicely decorated and very bright. There are wooden blinds throughout the unit. The master bedroom and bathroom are spacious. There is a king-sized bed, six-drawer dresser, two nightstands with a drawer, two lamps and a TV. The door from the master bedroom to the balcony does not open. The only way onto the huge balcony is from the living room. The balcony was one of our favorite spots. We ate lunch on the balcony each day. The is a table and five chairs. From the balcony, you have an unobstructed view of the beach. The internet did not work. We spent several hours trying to get it to work, but it didn't. Padre Island Rentals sent someone over and is was supposed to work the morning that we checked out, but it still wasn't working when we checked out. The pools are very nice although warm. We spent the majority of our pool time in the smaller pool because it was cooler than the larger pool. The beach access was fine. You have to walk through the pool area and down some steps to get to the beach path. The path is padded with a foam covering until it stops and you have to walk through some sand to get to the beach. The beach is clean and beautiful. You are not allowed to leave items on the beach at night for the next day. The city crews come in during the night and clean the beach.
