For the past 10 years I have been staying at SunTide III, Unit 1004. The owners are always making improvements well ahead of their need. The unit now has beautiful recessed lighting in the kitchen, making the kitchen look so much larger. This year I found that the owners had changed the master bath to a walk-in shower with a rain nozzle, Very large and luxurious. The other bath had been changed to a soaking tub in a marble that matched the counters. That soaking tub was such a treat. One of the best features of SunTide III is the management and staff. Faye and Rosa are very professional and very competent. It is always a pleasure to talk with the staff and I have found them to be very helpful with any question that I have. If you are looking for a stay in paradise I recommend SunTide III, once you stay there you will return.

Great, updated condo for a vacation. This condo has an ocean view and is a penthouse, so larger. Everything is clean and beautifully decorated! I would recommend this condo to anyone that is looking for a great stay in South Padre Island. The outdoor pool is a nice alternative to the beach and the staff is very friendly! Enjoy!!

Our condo unit #1208 was well arranged & had adequate supplies. We weren't thrilled with the glass table (hard to keep clean & very noisy if playing dominoes), but it sat 8 people comfortably so that was great. The furniture was all quite comfortable & plenty of places to sit. The view was super. The complex has 2 pools. The outside pool is nice but very cold. The inside pool is also nice, but very hot. The parking is an issue which they tell you about ahead of time; however, it really wasn't that bad. You have to get a permit when you check in and park your car on the street outside the gates. You can park inside to unload or to load so that helps. It really sounds worse than it is, but wasn't something we were used to encountering on our visits to SP. Also, the fact that you can only exchange towels between the hours of 10 and 12 is ridiculous. Who isn't on the beach at that time? I will say their method of reserving umbrellas and chairs for the beach works really well because you just tell them at the front desk & they reserve them for you for the next day or you can tell them when you get out there. All in all it was a good place to stay.
