New YorkA treat!
Left on 07/08/2012 for a stay in June 2012
From the moment we saw adorable Surf View and heard the crashing waves we were hooked! The cottage is well maintained and a snap to keep tidy. The location is perfection! What could have been better than seeing our son sitting in an outdoor chair, with his toes in the sand, reading an archie comic book before he headed off to the beach on foot! Surf View is a gem!

Happy Vacationer
Scotia, NYExcellent Vacation at Surf View
Left on 10/02/2011 for a stay in June 2011
Armond,
I am sorry that I had not contacted you sooner, however this has been an
extremely hectic summer.
We would like to express our good feelings about our stay at Surfside
Cottages in June. We have not gotten away for a vacation for a long time
and this was a real treat for us. We found the cottage a wonderful facility
and the proximity to the ocean second to none. While there the weather was
great and the Wellfleet area was found to be relaxing and enjoyable.
We found the Surfside cottages to be fully equipped with high quality
amenities and all features working with no problems. The cabin was found
impeccably clean and ready for occupancy upon our arrival with top of the
line maintenance of the whole facility while were there. The management was
wonderfully cordial and respectful of our privacy.
In total, I would recommend the Surfside cottages to anyone who might ask
and fully believe that this is the best place to stay on the outer Cape. We
found this location a wonderful venue and a terrific value. The next time
that we spend time at the outer cape, we will stay at the Surfside cottages
for sure.
Thanks for all your hospitality

Millerton, NY 12546The perfect Cape Cod vacation
Left on 09/23/2011 for a stay in September 2011
This is not our first time at the Surf Side
Cottages and it won't be our last. We have already booked our reservation for next year! The cottages are spotless, comfortable and come with everything you need for a perfectly relaxed week at "the Cape". The beach is steps away from the cottage and the sounds of the ocean are the perfect way to drift into a wonderful sleep. With so much to do in the Wellfleet area we were never at a loss for
activity. When relaxing was the priority we had so many beautiful beaches or our own private screened-in back porch to shut out the world. Fabulous restaurants, galleries and quaint shops for window- shopping or gift buying are all conveniently close by. A wonderful Cape Experience!!! -

No location is better than Surf View. This was our sixth time renting this cottage and we were very pleased as always. Some updating was apparent and while the kitchen remains very small, we were very comfortable.

Ossining,NYPerfect Family Vacation on the Beach
Left on 08/24/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Surfside Cottage was simply the best place we have rented at the beach in
Wellfleet.The charming,unpretentious mid-century cottage was sparkling
clean, comfortable, and had the most knock-out location where you can roll out
of bed and be on a gorgeous ocean beach. So glad there was no tv or
internet, after a day the kids were inventing games and running off to the
seaside to watch the seals. I guess the best anecdote to describe the place was
when i came onto the parking lot from the path of the house,i complimented a
couple on their antique car and they replied "We like where your staying!"
The service provided by surfside was warm, enthusiastic and extremely
competent. It was a pleasure to meet Armand and his family, and he truly made
our stay more enjoyable. We can't wait to come back! Thanks so much! -

Brookline, MALocation! Location! Location!
Left on 07/30/2009 for a stay in July 2009
Surf View cottage is a compact, knotty-pine, 1950s cottage. It is completely equipped, but spare and retro in that it has never been "modernized". No TV, no internet, no AC, only old style lighting except for a track in the kitchen, etc. This unit is immaculate and uncluttered with some features like bathroom sink, carpets, and bedding apparently brand new. The location can't be beat, with just the piney dunes between you and the ocean beach. There are glimpes of the waves thru the dunes. The view, the breeze, and the sounds while sitting in the living room, or screened porch, or picnic table outside are breathtaking beyond description, especially early and late in the day, and all of it feels like your own. Even the view from the kitchen sink is fabulous! Armand is available at check in and check out and to handle any problems. We had none. If luxury to you is an experience rather than a thing, and you like the feel of the outer cape ocean beaches, Surf Side cottages, and this unit in particular are for you.

South Shore, MARelaxation at it's best in a beautifully natural setting.
Left on 07/30/2009 for a stay in July 2009
We've been renting Surfside Cottages for five years now and hope we can forever. With small children, being able to walk to a beach and easily go back for lunch or a nap makes all the difference. The cottage is comfortable, location beautiful. I love the outdoor shower at the end of the day. Property managers are friendly and helpful.

Highland Mills, NYPeaceful Spiritual Retreat
Left on 06/25/2009 for a stay in June 2009
Surf View is a lovely peaceful retreat cottage about 1000 feet from beautiful Marconi Beach. The ocean is a spiritual experience as tides come in and go out and birds and sea lions show up to feed. The manager Armond personally came and informed about the area and all that it could offer my family. He was very helpful even showing up very late one night to let us in to the cottage when we locked ourselves out.
Response from Surfside Cottages - 06/26/2009
Manager
This renter is a little confused. The cottage is very close to LeCount Hollow Beach at McGuire's Landing. Marconi Beach is almost three miles away. Both of these beaches are part of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

Westhampton, Massachusettsquaint cottage - great fishing, hiking
Left on 06/08/2009 for a stay in June 2009
We have been staying at Surf View for the past 15 years in the off season Spring and Fall. We love it here because it is just a walk to the lovely National Seashore. We go surf fishing and walk the beach. We have also found great hiking trails off of Oceanview Drive and hike daily. We encounter many different birds in the Spring months and it is a joy listening to thier songs. We basically eat in; however if we do not want to cook there is the Generl Store just down the road for some quick bites. We stay here for the surrounding beauty and peacefulness of the cottages on the National Seashore.
