The Outer Banks vacation rental home "Glass Castle" is located at 13 Tenth Avenue in Southern Shores, North Carolina. Located on a quiet road in the private community of Southern Shores, this home is the perfect spot! With no roads to cross and only about 500 feet from the beach this is a great home for a family with children. The 1st level of this home offers the main living, dining and kitchen area along with Bedroom #1 which has 2 Single beds and Bedroom #2 which also has 2 Single beds. We enjoyed staying at the house with our 4 kids. There was plenty of room & the house was clean. I would suggest a modernization of the Tv's, and trimming back the shrubbery around the house. Overall a nice house right by the beach. A word of caution as to the beach itself in that it's more rocky here than further north on the island.

We had vacationed in the same house for 5 years. It is close to the beach, close to shops in Duck, silent road, and confortable for a family of 4. The owner seems to listen to request for improvement adding every year something that improves the overall experience.

Our family enjoyed the location and the neighborhood of the house. Very nice house and the kids enjoyed the "pet rabbits and deer" that were in the yard every day. I have recommended the property to a friend. Thanks for a nice property and a nice company to work with.
