The house delivered all as promised. Keyless entry was great. Not having to checkin at Realtor office was great. House was spotless. Pool, hottub, and grounds were very well kept. Location was a very quick walk to the beach...also very easy to get to grocery store and sightseeing.
Only mar on the week was that 4 of us out of our party, all coming from different states and homes all got sick at the same time. I thought this very unusual...we all got sinus, cough illnesses...and we all got sick at the very same time? This seemed most unusual to me? -

The King's Beech and it's amenities we're perfect for our group's family vacation. We are faithful OBX vacationers, we have been doing our group family trip for six years usually to Corolla but this house in Southern Shores was great. It was close to the beach, directly off highway Nc-12, biking distance from the shops in Duck and a 5-10 ride (without traffic) to the main highway. We spent almost our entire week at the pool at the house, perfect for our young kids.

We had a family reunion with older teens, young adults and older adults and the home had everything we could have asked for. The home was spotless and so well appointed.

There were eight of us that stayed here for a week. The house was so nice that we hardly saw the beach at all. The two three high definition Tv's worked nicely with our xbox's. We played a lot of horseshoes and volleyball. The pool was refreshing and much closer than the beach. All that and we had our own hot tub and pool table. Thanks so much to the owners who agreed to let a non-family group rent their home for a week.
p.s. - my dog loved the fenced in backyard. -

This was our 5th year at OBX. The previous 4 years we stayed at the sister home to this property - 1800 Queen Beech. 1801 King Beech is the identical home. We have already again reserved this property for next year so that says it all. Only critical comments are that it is time for a new box spring and mattress in the master bedroom and some new couches and chairs in the main living room. Otherwise, the entire home is clean, spacious, well-maintained and a joy to stay in.
