The house was clean and comfortable.The outside area was very nice for entertaining by the pool. The extras such as the golf was very nice though unexpected so we didn't have golf clubs but did take advantage of the put-put. The rooms were situated in a way that gave us the best advantage for use. Nery nice.

This house was perfect in size for our family of four and could have accommodated another kid or two. Location to the beach was great with a view of the ocean from the top deck. Pool and hot tub are a great bonus.

We left OBX very satisfied overall with our stay. We toured from Nags Head to Carolla and were pleased with the location of the home in Southern Shore. It was centrally located, a short walk to the beach, and a short drive to a 24 hour Harris Teeter grocery and a Walmart. We found this house online and I booked it by phone. It was very easy and the folks at Resort Realty were very helpful with all of our questions. The home was perfect for our party of 8, (four adult and four children, ages 8-11). The house has a large master bedroom which, with the king bed that's in there and by adding an air mattress, we gave to the kids. It ultimately gave us an extra bedroom that we didn't need/use. The pool/hot tub area is great and we would never book a home in OBX without it. It offers the advantage of enjoying the beautiful weather without having to rely on the beach every day. The pool/hot tub area was certainly a highlight of our stay because it gave us a private area to relax and enjoy. The only true disappointment to the house was the lack of certain items we expected would be there. When we checked in there was barely a roll of toilet tissue between the three bathrooms and there were no kitchen towels or rags whatsoever. There were also no products, handsoaps, dishwasher or laundry detergents of any kind. We did accept that we would likely purchase "our brands" of laundry products but with the rest of the products missing it certainly added to our grocery run list. Those negatives aside, when we go back to OBX we would certainly consider this home again.

The house was nice and in a great location to the beach. We liked the pool and hot tub! The house needed to be cleaned a little better. The wall above the kitchen cabinets was covered in dirt and dust (I think due to the air conditioning vent blowing on it). Also the shower in the master bedroom had a layer of mold around the very top and shower curtain was beginning to mold on the inside. Didn't really want to give my 1 year old a bath there. Otherwise very nice and well kept.

There was alot of things wrong with the house from lights that Didnt work to not being clean. Poool ladder not tightly Insuled to not being clean. And we saw the men cleaning it. The house on holiday is a role Molde for all. We been coming to the OBX for 7 YRS and was Disapppointted. We made the best of it. Its just that you pay Sooo much for Primr time and you get things like this. My family and friends look forward to go to the OBX ever year. Over all we enjoyed or stay. This will not stop of from coming back!!!

The house was family friendly. Liked the stairs on the outside going to the bedroom area. The house was very clean, however, I would like to mention 3 things that need attention. The ceiling fan blades need to be cleaned. The filters for the air conditioning need to be changed and the vanity area for the king beedroom needs more light bulbs. That area was dark. I would not hesitate to come back to this house next Summer.

The more cental location than past trips enabled us to easily take advantage of attractions/events in Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills. proximity to the beach was a welcome change and made visits simple logistically. Overall, we had a great time and would stay here again.

We had an amazing experience with your company and with the house. The property was everything we wanted and more. The views, pool, and proximity to the beach couldn't be better. Loved the updated interior upstairs. The downstairs was outdated especially the master, but we got over that quickly because of the other amenities.
The hot tub was broken, but was fixed two days later. And there were many extras were didn't even know about like the umbrella rental and pool toys.

1) Location was great.
2) Kitchen well equipped and very clean dishes and cookware. Kitchen was very nice.
3) Pool and hot tub very nice.
4) Deck and house very nice.
5) Not enough tv's and the ones that exist are to small.
6) Dining room area and bar stools need updating.
7) Lights very dim, need to be brighter in bedrooms and bathrooms.
8) Resort Realty did a good job in handling rental. -

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casa Del Sol. It was an easy walk to the beach even for my five year old. The pool was the perfect size for our family. The house had everything we needed including a gas grill. We appreciated the games and movies too. There was nothing lacking in our stay. We had a great time.

First thing is to get the right picture of the house. We tried to get the keys a little early put was told is was not cleaned. We waited for awhile and asked again and was told the same thing but yet the keys were there all the time. Having young kids with us and getting in a little early is important.
The house was a good location from the beach and was well maintained inside. Should have a small area rug in the front room so the glass coffee table does not slide on the hardwood The claim of having wireless internet access was a joke. We called and asked for help but little was coming so we went to the public library for access. Amazing it worked there.
There needs to be a better way of getting from the master bedroom to the pool and hot tub. We either had to go upstairs and back down if the two front bedrooms were occupied or manuvuer down the steps through the carport and then out onto prickly grass since there was no walkway.
Overall it barely fit our needs and this is why we went to another realtor this year and got a better value house for less money. If Resort Realy wants my business again prove it.
