We loved the layout of the house. Plenty of room for everyone. The pool and hot tub were great. The decks were a neat feature. The neighborhood was so quiet and it was relaxing to walk our dogs...many paths and quiet roads to walk down. It was an easy walk to the beach. Everything was in excellent condition and as advertised.

This is a great little house for families. It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The pool is lovely and well maintained and we enjoyed it every day we were there. The beach is a short walk - maybe a total of a block from the house. You cross the street at a marked crossing so that was never an issue. The house was far enough from the main street that noise was never an issue and for families with small children the front of the house was well shaded with a long driveway away from the street. The furnishings were comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with cookware, etc. We would book this house again.

This a perfect secluded home that we enjoyed staying at. We were closer to the beach then we expected which was a nice surprise. The home was decorated beautifully yet not over done. The master bedroom was very large (another nice surprise.) The pool was secluded from all the neighbors as was the hot tub. All of this for a very reasonable price. This was truly a wonderful find and I would stay there again and again.

Quick and easy access after crossing the bridge is a great start to arriving in NC. No long drive up to Duck or beyond. Easy walk to the beach or stay at home and enjoy the pool in quiet seclusion. All shopping is within a 5-minute drive...

Our family of 5, plus 3 grandparents and our dog enjoyed this house for a week in August 2008. The pool was great, everything was exactly as advertised. While we were there, we found out that the owners were planning to replace all the decks/stairs/etc. We did not even think they needed work which shows they truly take care of the property. I was a bit apprehensive about crossing the road to get to the beach, but it turned out to be no issue at all! We would definitely rent this house again.

I visited this home with my two daughters this past summer (2008). We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We had a very short walk to the beach, which was very convenient.
The upper level master bedroom was huge and quite comfortable. It also allowed privacy and quiet, especially in the evenings.
The house has been very well maintained.
I would return to this property and would highly recommend it to anyone.
